Introduction

Welcome to my comprehensive guide for the Night Lord. This guide has everything a Night Lord needs to know varying from skill builds to AP distribution to training spots to equipment to medals! We have everything you need to know! Hyper Skills are included!

Note: Currently under construction in accordance with the RED Update. Do not be surprised by spelling errors, grammatical mistakes and missing content.

Description

Thieves have are the best job type at evading attacks and even hiding and sneaking past enemies. These skills let them get in the perfect position to attack or avoid unnecessary battles.

Gameplay

Night Lord is a ranged class, who uses LUK as the main stat. He carries a unique weapon of his own called a Claw which consumes throwing stars.

Pros and Cons

Pros

-- High damage dealing potential
-- High single target DPS
-- Relatively high range
-- Low XP loss on death

Cons

- Low HP which means more deaths and consumes potions at an extremely fast rate to stay alive
- Poor mobbing compared to other classes
- Only becomes less squishy when Shadow Shifter is unlocked (4th Job Skill)
- Requires at least decent funding to unlock true damage dealing potential

Dark Sight.gif Dark Sight Allows you to hide in shadow for a short time. While Dark Sight is activated you cannot attack or be attacked, but you can use the Flash Jump skill. Press the skill key again to deactivate Dark Sight. Supportive 10 x -
Flashjump.gif Flash Jump Use while in the middle of a jump to jump even further. The jumping distance increases as the skill level increases. Active 5 x Explorer Rogue only
Haste.gif Haste Temporarily increases Movement Speed and Jump for all party members. Increases maximum Movement Speed permanently. Supportive 10 x Explorer Rogue only
Self Haste.PNG Self Haste Temporarily increases Movement Speed and Jump. Increases maximum Movement Speed permanently. Supportive 20 x Dual Blade Rogue only
Doublestab.gif Double Stab Quickly stabs an enemy twice. Active 20 x -
Nimble Body Skill.gif Nimble Body Permanently increases Accuracy and Avoidability. Passive 20 x -

Assassin's Mark.png Assassin's Mark While attacking with this skill, you have a chance to leave an assassin's mark on the enemy. The next attack on a marked enemy will cause throwing stars to form on that enemy and attack other enemies nearby. Passive 1 x -
ClawBooster.gif Claw Booster Increase the attack speed of your weapon by 2 levels. Must have a Claw equipped. Supportive 10 x Level 5 Claw Mastery
Shuriken Burst.png Shuriken Burst Throws an exploding shuriken to damage the target and nearby enemies. Active 20 x -
Gust Charm.png Gust Charm Solidifies the wind to damage and knock back enemies. Active 20 x -

Shadow Stars.png Shadow Stars Upon Unleashing the spirit of the star, you will be able to throw as many stars as you want without consuming any in your inventory for a short amount of time. Active 10 x -
Expert Throwing Star Handling.png Expert Throwing Star Handling Increases total damage. Grants an additional chance to cast without consuming throwing stars or MP, and a chance to recharge 1 throwing star. (Will not generate more than the maximum throwing star limit.) When Expert Throwing Star Handling is activated, the next attack will always be a Critical Attack. (Critical is applied for Spirit of the Star, but throwing stars will not be recharged. Passive 10 x Level 5 Shadow Stars
VS.png Venom Poison is permanently applied to your Claw, giving all your attacks the chance to Poison enemies. The Poison is not stackable, and the enemy's HP cannot drop below 1. Passive 10 x -
Triple throw.gif Triple Throw Throw 3 throwing stars simultaneously. Active 20 x -
Alchemic Adrenaline.png Alchemic Adrenaline Increases the effect of recovery items like potions. Percentage-based recovery items like Elixirs do not count. Also increases Min/Max Critical Damage. Passive 20 x -
Shade Splitter.png Shade Splitter Spews out shadow clones that hurl throwing stars at enemies in front of you. Active 20 x -
Dark Flare.png Dark Flare Temporarily summons the Dark Lord's throwing star. Party members nearby will reflect enemy damage. Cannot reflect more than half of the enemy's Max HP. Active 10 x -
ShadowPartner.gif Shadow Partner A shadow partner that mimics the summoner appears. It does not have its own HP and disappears after a fixed period of time. Supportive 20 x 1 Summoning Rock
Shadowweb.gif Shadow Web Creates a web of shadow around you that can tangle up to 6 monsters. Once tangled, the monsters will be unable to move and take continuous damage. Supportive 10 x -
Shadow Resistance.png Enveloping Darkness Cover yourself with darkness, increasing Max HP, Abnormal Status Resistance, and Elemental Resistance are permanently. Passive 10 x -

Night Lord's Mark.png Night Lord's Mark Further enhances the Assassin's Mark, increasing the chance, damage and number of throwing stars that shoot out. Passive 10 x -
Frailty Curse.png Frailty Curse Summons a barrier around you. Decreases the Attack Power, Movement Speed, and Defense of enemies that step into the barrier. Also allows you to deal more damage to boss monsters. Supportive 30 x -
Claw Expert.png Claw Expert Increases Claw Mastery, Weapon Attack, and Max Critical Damage. Passive 30 x Level 10 Claw Mastery
Quad Star.png Quad Star Masterfully unleash four throwing stars. Active 30 x -
Sudden Raid.png Sudden Raid Calls in a horde of friends to set the stage on fire. Active 30 x -
Dark Harmony.png Dark Harmony Become one with the darkenss to deal more damage. Supportive 30 x -
Hero's Will.png Hero's Will Cures you from being Seduced. The cooldown decreases as the skill level increases. Supportive 5 x -
