Hello this is my guide about a Wind Archer. Will take a long time to finish. Be patient and this guide will have many theories, and so I need to level my Wind Archer to comfirm theories.

Pros and Cons about them

Pros:

  • Have the longest range.
  • Cool skills
  • Has an unreliable Critical Shot for all attacks, which helps in killing monsters.
  • HIGH accuracy.
  • Has the second highest avoidability, only beaten by Night Walkers.(Note: DEX provide avoidability, however not as much as LUK.)
  • Has Soul Arrow, and it takes MP only, unlike a Night Lord's Shadow Claw, which pays 200 stars and some MP first.
  • Storm Breath, when maxed, gives a 100% knockback to 6 monsters. And it deals damage too!
  • Has Wind Walk, which is similar to Dark Sight, but lasts for an infinity amount of time. And you can deal more damage with it!
  • Has pro skills like Eagle Eye, Wind Piercing and Wind Shot! How cool is that?
  • Has Hurricane, and with Soul Arrow, it PWNS!

Cons:

Training Spots

Level 1-13 -> Do all the Erev quests in Erev.

Level 13-21 -> Do the Puppeteer's quests until you are level 21.

Level 21-30 -> Continue doing Puppeteer's quests if not rich/funded. Do Kerning PQ if rich/funded.

Level 30-38 -> Hey, for the riches out there, no one will do Monster Carnival with you yet. Develop your skills in Mushroom Castle. Same to the unfunded.

Level 38-50 -> Ahh, time for Monster Carnival! Hopefully you maxed Storm Breath. It will be helpful in Monster Carnival. So will Wind Walk.

Level 50-70 -> Monster Carnival Season 2 will be great if your computer is not the dc-ing type.

Why the choice and order?

Yea, I pretty much ask people to out the first skill point into Double Shot. Anyway, you will level up fast, but my guide allows people to level up faster. Trust me, after you kill the monsters for training, the EXP reward will level you up. I did not use a single MP pot at all from level 1-13. Anyway, when you are done with the training, Storm will just ask the monsters to follow you, so I decided to put points into it at a later level. Actually, you can put skill points into Critical Shot before Double Shot from level 16-26. Stopping at 19 for Double Shot may seem weird, but I feel that the 1 skill point can be put into other skills first. I also put the first skill point for second job in Storm Breath, for I recommend Monster Carnival to be done. The order may seem weird but it is helpful, really. As for 3rd job, nothing much, expect that the first skill point is put into Strafe. Now, looking at the whole guide, the next skill point put into Strafe was in level 111! Storm Breath is a mob skill, and lasts till level 71. Strafe is a good attack for 1v1.
