Job Advancement
Job Advancements are a very important feature in Maple Story throughout all versions. Everyone in Maple starts of as a Beginner, and as they level up, eventually they can choose which path to choose from. The requirements and the places for the job advancement differ from one another, and you can also make further job advancements in the game. For any path you choose to follow, there will be certain requirements or quests to do so.
Beginners
Beginners are the begining class of Maple Story. They have some very basic skills to whet the appeties of the player. Althoght some players choose never to change to job class, it is recommended you do change to job class as you get more specilized abilities.
Skill #1: "Three Shells" This skill throws snail shells at opponents. The type of shell depends on the skill level.
Skill #2 "Recovery" I consider this as one of the better skills for beginners, as it heals a bit of hps.
Skill #3 "Nimble Feet" This skill comes in handy when you need a bit of jumping to do. It is even useful at higher levels when you have no sins with haste spells available.
- NOTE ---Although such skills as monster riding or legendary spirit appear in "Beginner" skills, they are technically advanced skills that you will be required to get in quests later in the game
