Beast Tamer

The Beast Tamer is a Magician class in Maplestory. This class is it's own category and does not fit into any existing category (Explorer, Sengoku, etc). The Beast Tamer is a master and friend of the animal kingdom and partners herself with their fauna friends to become a hero.

Storyline

Meet Chase, a simple girl with big dreams. Chase has longed to be a hero since she was little, but it wasn't until the day she saved a cat named Arby that her wish came true. Through Arby's mysterious powers, Chase has gained the ability to control animals, and thus, her adventure has begun.

As Chase and Arby set out on their journey, more animals start to flock to their side. Now Chase can harness the power of the bear, the snow leopard, the hawk, and of course, Arby the cat.

Overview

The Beast Tamer is given a large range of diversity and roles due in part of her four animal companions, Arby the cat, Lai the snow leopard, Fort the bear and Eka the hawk. Arby focuses on party support and carries the majority of buff skills, Lai relies on rapid mobility and agile combat, Fort is a powerhouse that deals heavy amounts of damage and Eka is talented with aerial movement.

Being a Magician, The Beast Tamer uses INT as it's primary stat. Her main weapon of choice is the Scepter and her secondary weapon is the Whistle.

Trivia

• While the Beast Tamer is described with a feminine pronoun, you are able to create male Beast Tamers within the game.
• Kanna is the 5th job to be released in various servers besides Korean Maplestory.
