Walk until the end of the path and enter the portal to defeat the wiseman's dark side to obtain the Black Charm. Return to Athena Pierce and exchange the Black Charm for a Necklace of Strength. Return to El Nath after that and give the item to Rene. Head on to the Holy Ground at the Snowfield (Sharp Cliff II). 1 Dark Crystal is requirred to answer 5 questions to obtain the Necklace of Wisdom. Again, head back to Rene in El Nath and give her the Necklace of Wisdom. | |||

Why Become a Ranger
Rangers start out as a Bowman and then advance to Hunter and finally Ranger. Rangers are a ranged class, and attack from far away. They are excellent mobbers, but lack party skills.
Becoming a Ranger
Once level 70, Go to El Nath - Chief Residence and speak to Rene. After talking to Rene, head back to Victoria Island and talk to Athena Pierce which is located in Henesys. Pros
- Do good ranged damage

- Acquires Arrow Rain, a mobbing skill that attacks all nearby enemies, and eliminates the minimum range problem.
- Mortal Blow gives the chance to shoot from close up, and can even 1HKO
- Have the skill Strafe an amazing 1 on 1 skill that shoots 4 arrows, each one doing 100%+crit
- The skill Puppet makes enemies ignore you and attack a puppet, even bosses
- Less vulnerable close-up than Hermits
Cons
- Have an incredibly unstable damage
- Equipment more expensive than Snipers, though still extremely low
- Still have a minimum range if Mortal Blow fails
- Low survivability, due to low HP protection, and often need a Priest
Stat Distribution
The stat distribution is the same as before. Keep your STR your lvl+5 and everything else in DEX
