A Page is a class that is known for being one of the downright worst classes in MapleStory. This is not true. Page are like a combination of Spearmen and Fighters without party skills. Although a Page lacks in party and offensive skills, they slowly become stronger as you progress. A Page is like a Fighter without Rage. However, in Rage's place is a defensive skill called Threaten. Threaten is often under-estimated, but it saves you a lot of money if you use it right. Another reason for being a page is that you can own mobs, and you'll be doing 10k+ damage with a maxed out charge and power strike by level 90+ (Which outdamages a Crusader's combo as it takes 5 hits to charge a combo). And considering you can stun enemies and freeze them, you'll be on your way to being one of the richest classes in MapleStory.

Pros and Cons
Every class has them. Pages do not have too many advantages. But they don't have many cons to them either. This makes them just that class that excels at many different departments of the game, not just extremely good at one aspect.

Pros
* Higher natural HP than Spearmen.
* Higher MP than Fighters.
* Acquire Threaten, a fantastic defensive and offensive skill.

Cons
* Lower HP than Fighters.

* Lower MP than Spearmen.
* Not as powerful in this second job advancement. (Fixed with 100%-60% Scrolls, although it'll stay that way if the other classes use scrolls too.)

Sword or Mace
In the Big Bang, Pages recieved many skill changes in their respective jobs, making them more easier and enjoyable, making them one of the most popular classes in Maplestory, especially as an Ultimate Adventurer. They are starting to become more popular due to all the updates and revamps.

Choosing between swords and maces isn't easy. Look below to find pros and cons for each weapon.
Becoming a Page
Pros - Swords
Head to the Warriors' Sanctuary (located at the bottom right of Perion) once you've reached Lv 30. Go inside and talk to Dances with Balrog. Pass the letter he gives you to the Warrior Job Instructor at the Excavation Intermission Area. After giving him the letter, you'll be given an errand to collect 30 Dark Marbles by defeating the Skeledogs inside. Make sure to stock up on recovery items.

*Fairly high stable damage
After collecting the 30 Dark Marbles and talking to the Warrior Job Instructor, you will be awarded with Proof of a Hero. Show it to "Dances with Balrog," who will advance you into a Page.
*Higher attack speed than Maces

Cons - Swords
Note: The Dark Marbles have a 1/3 drop rate, meaning that a total of about 90 Skeledogs will need to be killed.

*Scrolls and the sword itself are pretty expensive.

Pros - Maces
*Higher max damage than swords
*Cost less in scrolls and the mace itself

Cons - Maces
*Lower minimum damage than swords
*Slow attack speed.

Every kind of warrior typically has the same kind of build when it comes to stats. Dex should be kept at an absolute minimum, raising it only when you find that you might miss against whatever you're training on. Using things like Sniper Potions or Sniper Pills will increase your accuracy, allowing you to keep your Dex down to a reasonable level. When partying with a Cleric, you no longer need potions or pills, as Clerics have a skill called Bless that will raise your accuracy by 20, as well as some other stats.

30 - 35
Train on Jr. Sentinels for high money and fairly good EXP.

Train on Wild Boars at Land of Wild Boar II for less money, but slightly better EXP.

Land of Wild Boar is also a viable option, however, unless you're using items scrolled for dex, you will have trouble fighting Jr. Boogies.

Evil Eyes in Cave of Evil Eye I and the following maps have the best EXP, but also require more potions. You may end up losing money if you train here.

35 - 40
Train on Chronos for even higher money, good EXP and great drops. The Ludibrium Party Quest is also a great place to get EXP. You could also try Evil Eyes, or even Jr. Kitties (Jr. Cellions, Jr. Lioners and Jr. Grupins) for great EXP.

40 - 50
The Ludibrium PQ is definitely the best place at this level. You can also train on Tobos, Jr. Kitties, Fire Boars and Block Gollems.

Copper Drakes and Cold Eyes are good for training if you're funded.

--->Contrary to the Author's viewpoints that Ludibrium PQ is the best place to level, this applies only if you manage to get in every single time, with little wait time in between each party quest.  Ludibrium PQ provides a fun alternative to training, but realistically, it is slower leveling.

50 - 60
Train on Jr. Yetis or Stone Gollems.

You can also train at Drake's Meal Table.

60 - 70
Train on Coolie Zombies.

Weapons to Use
Sword Page
It is recommended you use two-handed swords all the way since they kill quicker and are good at range.

30: Scimitar + X (50+ attack)

35: Lionheart + 3+ (60-64 attack)

40: Zard + 7 (67-72 attack)

50: Lion's Fang + 7 (75 - 82 attack)

60: Sparta + 7 (85 - 92 attack)

70: Doombringer + 7 (92 - 97 attack)

As you can see, It is recommended +7 for all your equips. But the +7 is only from 100% scrolls, as 7 of them are cheaper than 1 60% 2h Sword scroll.

Blunt Weapon Page
30: Mithril Maul (52 attack)

35: Sledgehammer (57 attack)

40: Titan  (62 attack)

50: Golden Mole (72 attack)

60: The Blessing (82 attack)

70: Gigantic Sledge (87 attack)

I'm not a Mace Page, but If you choose to go with maces, you should go two handed with them too. Don't forget to scroll your maces with ONLY 60% scrolls, because they are cheaper than 100% mace scrolls in the shop.

Why Be A Page?

A Page is a class that is said for being one of the downright worst classes in MapleStory.

Warrior Job Tree, with the Page indicated in red.

A level 45 Page, using a Hero's Gladius.

In the Big Bang, Pages recieved many skill changes in their respective jobs, making them more easier and enjoyable, making them one of the most popular classes in Maplestory, especially as an Ultimate Adventurer. They are starting to become more popular due to all the updates and revamps.

Becoming a Page

Head to the Warriors' Sanctuary (located at the bottom right of Perion) once you've reached Lv 30. Go inside and talk to Dances with Balrog. Pass the letter he gives you to the Warrior Job Instructor at the Excavation Intermission Area. After giving him the letter, you'll be given an errand to collect 30 Dark Marbles by defeating the Skeledogs inside. Make sure to stock up on recovery items.

After collecting the 30 Dark Marbles and talking to the Warrior Job Instructor, you will be awarded with Proof of a Hero. Show it to "Dances with Balrog," who will advance you into a Page.

Note: The Dark Marbles have a 1/3 drop rate, meaning that a total of about 90 Skeledogs will need to be killed.
