Description

Corsairs are pirates who have mastered the use of the gun, allowing them to shoot with high accuracy and deal large amounts of damage. They are the fourth job advancement for Gunslingers and are able to shoot extremely fast, board a battleship, and control monsters. They have several summoning abilities to aid them in combat, many of which have been upgraded from the Outlaws' (3rd job) summons.

Misconceptions

While Gunslingers are generally considered inferior to other classes, this only applies to their 1st and 2nd job (Pirate and Gunslinger, respectively), when they must rely on Double Shot, a weaker skill. The 3rd job gives them Triple Shot, elemental attacks, summoning, and other useful, higher-damage skills. Corsairs have the highest potential damage-per-minute of any class, though whether they are able to realize this depends heavily on the map layout, character equipment, and player skill.
