Training guide for dexless sins
This is a guide to leveling up for a dexless sin to lvl. 70. This is a guide, not a get level up fast, it will not take a step by step plan to get to lvl. 70.
Basics
Vocabulary
Sin: Short for Assassin
Dexless: a term used by Rogues and Warrios around the world, it is the practice of putting all your stat points in your main stats, and getting the minimum dex stat
AP: Each level you get 5 Ability Points, you may distribute them between Str, Dex, Int, Luk, Hp, or Mp.
SP: NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH AP, short fo SKILL POINT, each class has a different skill movepool, you may distribute your SP between them. You get 1 Sp from lvl. 1-7, and then 3 SP for every level you make after your 1st job advancement
STR: Strength - Decides how much MUCHO you have, Warriors Main Stat, Bowmans and Pirates secondary stat
DEX: Dexterity - Decides how much you can BEND, Bowmans and Pirates main stat, Warriors and Rogue second stat
INT: Intelligence(Warriors, Pirates, Rogues, and Bowman are all unintelligent)-Decides how NERDY you are(Not neccessarily a bad thing) Magicians Main Stat, No ones Second stat
LUK: Luck - Rogues Main Stat, Magicians secondary Stat, LUK can be used to lower the Exp loss when you die.
HP: Health Points, Warriors and Pirates have the highest HP, Bowman and Assassins have the average amount, and the Magicians, lacking in physical activity, have the lowest. Each level you gain some HP points, depending on your strength. If your HP reaches zero, you become a tombstone and die.
MP: Mana Points (or Magic Points) Magicians have the most, Rogues and Bowman have the average amount, and Warriors and Pirates are dead last in MP. Mp is used to activate active skills, passive skills do not take MP, and will always be on. For a Magician, if you used Magic Guard, which makes you take less damage on your not very impressive HP, but puts more damage on your MUCHO MP bar. But if your MP bar reaches zero from damage, you become a grave stone, even if your HP is still there
K: Short for Kilo, which is root for thousand, so if you have 5k, you have 5000 mesos
Mil: Short for Million, which means million, so if you have 5 mil, you have 5,000,000 mesos
Mesos: Currency used in Maplestory
Lvl.: short for level.
Att: Short for Attack
Pot: Stands for Potion or any item that heals hp/mp
How to Start a Dexless Account
In the past, you always had to roll for your stats, all your stats adding to 25. So you could roll a 5 in Str, 10 in Dex, 6 in Int, and only 4 in Luk, but you always had the chance of getting a 4 Str, 10 Dex, 4 Int, and 7 Luk, which is perfect stats for a Dexless Sin or a regular Sin.
Now, you start the game with selected stats, with 12 str, 5 dex, 4 int, 4 luk. Luk for now is useless, int can used to raise your mp, but after your advancement, they reset to default. For now, add all stat points into str, so you get
An assassin is a part of the Rogue Class, they throw stars, unlike it's counterpart, the bandit, which uses Daggers.
Pros(Rogue):
High Avoidibility
High Accuracy
Learns Haste, a very common party skill
Cons:
Expensive equipment because the Rogue Class is common
Hated because they KS easily
Str, Dex, Int, Luk
17,5,4,4: level 2
22,5,4,4: Lvl. 3
27,5,4,4: Lvl. 4
32,5,4,4: Lvl. 5
...
The point is that all your stat points should be added into Str, but after you become a rogue, your stats reset, so it becomes 4,25,4,37
To start a dexless sin, everytime you level, put all your stat points into lul, Assassins damage is based mainly on Luk, so minimizing the stats in all the other stats allows you to maximize Luk. 25 is the minimum dex required to make the advancment.
Starting equipment:
To start a dexless acc, you should be funded, which means that it should be filthy rich, like 30+ mil. Use this to buy a Att Work glove of any color. You should get a garnier from the nightlord, get some equipment scrolled to add +5 dex, so at lvl. 15, you can get a Gold Titan +7. You can start out with lvl. 10 thief equipment. Get good stars like Ilbis, Hwabis, but heres the catch, if you have 5 mil set aside for stars, that is enough money for 1 steely, but that is also enough for 4-5 sets of tobis. It is suggested to downgrade to tobis, as you will be making less trips to the shop to recharge over a little bit of extra damage.

TRAINING SPOTS
Lvl. 1-10: You will be on Maple Island, on this island, you can fight Stumps, which give 8 exp, or Orange Mushrooms that give away 15 exp. At lvl. 10, come to Vic island, and make your 1st advancement
Lvl. 10-15: Say yes to the help me train quest, and do all the quest of fighting the stumps. If you feel that you can never find enough stumps, perion to ellenia has plenty to go around. After you finish all the training quests, you should recieve a lot of potions, don't waste them.
Lvl. 10-20: If you said no to the quest, you will have to supply your own potions, you can kill snails until around lvl. 13, when you can kill slimes in 1 lucky seven, if you are funded enough, you might be able to kill the orange mushroom with 1 lucky seven. At lvl. 18, you can try the green mushroom, it might be a stretched, by they toss 26 exp out when they die, if you really feel brave, you can go to orbis, and battle the Jr Sentiniel, they give out average exp, but the money drop is amazing! Also don't be afraid to HPQ(Henesys Party Quest). If you choose to go to Orbis, stop by the weapon shop and pick up a steel titan to upgrade later into a Gold Titan if you haven't gotten one yet.
Lvl. 21-24: Now you definitately need some good exp. You could Kerning Party quest, but it might take a while to get in, and the ligators in stage one will be very tough for you. Jr Sentiniels are still a good choice, they might be slow though. You will definately need a bathrobe.
Lvl. 25-29: If you haven't gotten a Sauna Robe, now you can start the quest for it. Kerning Party quest is still good exp, and you can get a brown or green bamboo hat here. Fire Boars and Boars in Perion could do you some good, that is if you bring a bunch of extra potions, and you aren't starved to death for money
Lvl. 30-34: KPQ will be slow, but it will work, Teddies in Ludibrium work with 60 exp per kill. MCPQ will be pretty good, especially if you can get into a good party.
Lvl. 35-40: At this point, MCPQ should be your best friend in training, but if you find yourself short on cash, you can always head to masteria and kill Leprechauns, that can drop up to 1k mesos.
Lvl. 41-45: MCPQ is still your friend, If you don't want to do MCPQ, there is always LPQ, it may take a long time to find a party that meets all requirements(Mage, Thief, Bowman...), but you can get a rare Napoleon from the bonus stage that can serve as your cape for lvl. 50, but if you need a cap, Iracus's cape should do.
Lvl. 46-50: This is one of the harder things to do, around lvl. 48, the winning exp is a little small, but in rm 5/6, you can kill a rombot easily, heres a hint, make a party, stuff it with 2 noobs, find another party that lvl. average around 35-40, and after you get in(make it rm 5/6) kick the noobs in your party. If you get a slight edge over the other team, start playing avoid up, weapon cancel, and so on, if your lucky, you might win the extra 30k exp.
Lvl. 51-70: LMPQ! what can I say. From Lvl. 51-55, LMPQ, put all the scrolls you get on MTS, acting like a storage, sell all the things you get to the pot shop(Unless it is equipment, in which put it on MTS) except Dried Squid, Pig Head Ramon, and the Mana Potions dropped by the monsters in there. After Lvl. 55, head back to Vic Island, and celebrate after you reach there, now you start grinding. Head to Heneseys dungeon, and battle the Stone Golems there, giving 170 Exp per kill. After you run out of Potions, head back to Ludi, and do it all over agin, only instead, if your lvl. 60 yet, go and try battling mix golems in Forest of Golems. After you run out of potions, head to ludi again, but if your lvl. 65, head to Masteria, and you can try Hoodoos or Voodoos, giving 300+ exps. Afterwards, repeat it, and kill Hoodoos and Voodoos until lvl. 70, then head to El Nath and Begin your Hermit Career.
