Parties are groups of players who work together to train or do Party Quests. There can be as few as one or as many as six players in a party.

Function of a Party

A party is formed so that a group of players can fight a monster that they wouldn't be able to defeat alone. They may also be formed to complete Party Quests. Some other Quests can be completed with the aid of a party, such as those that require the player to defeat a certain enemy a certain number of times. Also, some support skills can be used on others instead of just the caster, if the caster is in a party. These support skills may include Haste, Bless, Heal, Meditation, Hyper Body, Iron Will, and Rage.

Party members also share experience and meso gains with each other unless such experience or meso gains are from a quest. Additionally, loot dropped from enemies killed by party members can be immediately picked up by other party members without having to wait ten seconds.

An Ideal Party

An ideal party can vary, especially depending on the levels of the members. Another factor is which Second Job Advancement the members chose (if over level 30). One constant in most parties, however, is the presence of a Cleric/Priest. A cleric is very handy for a party, as the other members can train without spending too much on healing Potions. Another factor for parties is the members' levels. In a party in which everyone benifits, ideally all members are within 8 levels of each other. When you're training on high level monsters, the ideal party includes a spearman/DK and a cleric-
