"A mushroom monster spotted everywhere in Maple Island and Victoria Island. Tends to like to hide out in peoples' home and eat up all their food, which will turn them into powerful Mushmoms."

Orange Mushrooms are the jumping, evolved form of the Shroom. Don't be fooled by its innocent appearance -- it is quite a menace in large numbers. It can be found around Victoria Island, especially in the maps adjacent to Six Path Crossway, and Maple Island. Low leveled players that have a slow weapon attack and low damage may find these monsters more difficult; however, most travelers should have no problems with them.

It is recommended that you wait until at least level 7 before you train on this monster. A good place to hunt them is in a house at the back of Amherst on Maple Island. At the top of the map is a series of platforms that you can hide on while attacking the Orange Mushrooms. They are fast, and they jump, though they will not cross from one platform to another. Because of this, they are easy to beat if you stand on a platform that is lower than the one the Mushrooms are on and just keep jump-hitting them with a melee weapon.

Even though the Orange Mushroom is a simple monster, it is one of the most popular monsters in the game, serving as its unofficial mascot, and you can find it on pretty much any MapleStory-related website.
