El Nido
Elnido is the twelfth/thirteenth server of MapleGlobal. It was released on 8th December along with the arrival of the Big Bang. It is the first 'East Coast' server with the server catering for the East Coast of America. This means Maplers from the East Coast now have a server closer to them for faster gameplay, also people from the West Coast/other countries will also be allowed to play on El Nido.

World Alliance
On July 6th, 2012, the El Nido Server joined a Server Alliance with the Galicia, Arcania, Zenith, Demethos servers. These servers will share the same playing world (Players from all 5 worlds will play with each other) but players are allowed to make characters on all the servers, which means people will have quintuple the amount of players for that world. All the characters are still separated by worlds, so the rankings won't change. The number of channels has been increased to 20.
