Coolie Zombie
Description
"Rumors say, that an entire village of people died without reason. Those people are now zombies."
Throughout 2005-2006, they were dubbed simply, "Coolies", and hunted in mass, alongside Minor Zombie. They were seen as the choice training spot from level 50 through third job (sometimes even level 80). Frequent congestion of maps (overcrowding), and mass KSing, were just some of the problems that plagued their maps. Because of the (then) choice EXP, many would even pay for map-sitters or re-potters (potion buyers), in fear of losing their map. This also led to huge inflation of Return Scroll to Dead Mine (upwards of 500K per scroll), to make returning to maps easier. To show how bad the problems were, there was a time where GMs (especially on Scania and Broa) publicly and secretly monitored the situation, and would even ban those that acted outside of the TOS (KSing, harassment). Eventually, all the madness led to timers being implemented on their maps. Which in turn led to more dramatic outrage, and the eventual collapse of the Coolies-training era. As of 2007, the maps were no longer seen as even decent training (along with majority of El Nath).
In the years following, Straw Target Dummy ("STDs"), and Windraider ("Raiders"), have seen very similar effects.
