Introduction

Just a brief information about Blaze Wizards:

As expected of any great Magicians, Blaze Wizards posses powerful magic. They can call on Ignis, the spirit of Fire, to fight with them. They can also merge with Ignis to release massive fire magic. Those who always strive to better themselves and are wary of self and enemy can become a Blaze Wizard. Blaze Wizards are very much alike to Fire/Poison Magicians, they possess most skills that a Fire/Poison Magician has.

This article is not totally done yet. I, myself is still on the path to the highest job advancement. Please do check out this article from time to time, I might have new information up.

Since we all can't create a KoC character unless, we're level 20 or higher, I know that most of us already know where to distribute the skill points to our beginner skills, so I decided not to include it here anymore.

The following topics are present in this article:

  • Creating your KoC (Blaze Wizard) Character
  • Blaze Wizard's Ability Point Distribution
  • A Noblesse's Path to PROness
  • Introduction to First Job Skills

Creating Your Blaze Wizard

Starting off is pretty simple. Just follow these steps:

  • Log-in with your level 20+ character, which will also be your Blaze Wizard's parent or lead (will be explained further soon). You must see the KoC trailer. Afterwards, Neinheart will ask you if you'd like to create a KoC character. If you click "Accept", you will be transported to Ereve.
  • Right now, you must already be at Ereve. Shinsoo will talk to you and ask if you're ready to protect maple world. Of course once again, click "Accept".
  • Then, create a character, pick a username and VOiLA! Your KoC character is created! Just a simple note, you don't need an extra slot for your KoC character, for they will provide you with that one. You will have a special, one-free-slot on your account, of course works for a KoC character only.
  • Re-log and log-in with your KoC character.

A Noblesse's Path to PROness

Congratulations with your new KoC character! Your character must be at Ereve when you log-in. To start your journey, click Cygnus. Afterwards, click Neinheart and follow his quests. I recommend that you click Shinsoo from time to time. He will give you a blessing, which will be REALLY helpful.

Noblesse Skills and Skill Points Distribution

Skill Points Distribution

Level 2: +1 Three Snails (1)

Level 3: +1 Three Snails (2)

Level 4: +1 Three Snails (3, Maxed!)

Level 5: +1 Nimble Body (1)

Level 6: +1 Nimble Body (2)

Level 7: +1 Nimble Body (3, Maxed!)

End Result

  • Three Snails- 3, Maxed.
  • Nimble Body- 3, Maxed.

Noblesse Ability Points Distribution

As long as you're still below level 10, just apply ALL your skills to STR. This is until you get to level 10 and advance to a Blaze Wizard.

Basic AP Distribution for Blaze Wizards

This is the ability point distribution for Blaze Wizards.

So your stats should look something like this:

  • LUK: +3 Higher than your level. For example, you're level 12, your LUK must be 15.
  • INT: The rest of your ability points must be applied here.
  • DEX: 4
  • STR: 4

If you don't want to make things complicated, I recommend you to use the "Auto-assign" system.

Notes:

  • This is obviously NOT for LUKless Wizards.
  • A KoC character gets 6 ability points each level-up.
  • Whatever happens, don't distribute your ability points to HP/MP. You already have enough and you wouldn't want to spoil your stats, won't you?

Introduction to First Job Skills

Shown here are the first job skills of a Blaze Wizard.

  • Magic Armour- 1.
  • Magic Claw- 20, Maxed.

Notes:

  • Magic Guard over Magic Armor is VERY recommended. Magic Guard is very helpful to mages, since they have low HP. Therefore, decreases their chance to die.

Where to Train (10-30)

I usually prefer PQing (Party Quest) over grinding. So this is my recommendation to those aspiring Blaze Wizards.

If you'd like to train by yourself, you can try these places:

  • Level 10-15: Henesys Hunting Ground I, better known as HG1 or HHG1
  • Level 15-20: Pig Beach
  • Level 20-25: Caution Falling Down (By the west of Kerning City)
  • Level 25-30: Sleepywood (Try out Zombie Mushrooms)

Notes:

  • PQing is much more recommended than grinding, if you're unfunded, or lazy ^_^.
  • You can also do quests, for some quests give good exp too.
  • Not to offend anyone, but when you want to try out HPQ or KPQ, as much as possible, recruit people who could comprehend with you. By that I mean people who could understand and speak English well, because some people could be party-crashers, and that'd be annoying.

Introduction to Second Job Skills

  • Fire Curtain- 30, Maxed.
  • Fire Strike- 30, Maxed.

Notes:

  • If the third job skills would be arranged according to the "Most Needed" to the "Most Unneeded", the skill Seal would take the last spot. This is the reason why you're MOST definitely not going to max Seal. You've come this far, don't go mess your skills.
  • It is recommended to max Element Amplification before Fire Strike because you have a lot of mob attacks already, and Element Amplification would really be a helpful skill. It is always useful to have a supportive skill too :)
