First select your job as an Adventurer. Then you basically follow through the quests on Maple Island. This is where the two "types" of Perma Beginners forms.

There is a Islander; they stay at Maple Island. They should not complete the final part of Mai's Training Quest
And then there is the Off-Islander; Permanent Beginner!

If you want, you can stay on Maple Island and train on an assortment of snails, mushrooms, stumps, and pigs. Or, if you would rather go to Victoria Island, talk to Shanks around level 10 and leave. Staying on Maple Island makes it very hard to train, but around level 20, you should be able to kill Orange Mushrooms and Pigs in one hit. If you can stick it out and train on those for the rest of your character's life, you will become one of the strongest characters ever on Maple Island.(Try and beat Lv. 66 on Maple Island! It's possible!)
Note: With the release of MTS and Remote Gachapon, making an Islander is easier than ever before! (Galicia has a booming Islander population, while Khaini has a reviving one)

Training for Perma Beginners

Once you leave Maple Island, you're all on your own now. You are no longer training on a selection of monsters, but you now have to pick from hundreds dozens!

But remember, if you are going to become a perma-beginner, training might be slow for you, and it will get slower as you attain higher levels.

With the launch of Big Bang in December 2010, training spots drastically changed, as new (and better) options became available to the earlier levels. However the later levels have become somewhat harder (due to low damage rates against high HP).

Levels 10-15 Orange Mushroom, Green Mushroom & Horny Mushroom, Octopus, Party Quest (Henesys)
Levels 15-20 Jr. Wraith & Wraith, Blue Ribbon Pig, Axe Stump & Dark Axe Stump, Wild Boar
Levels 20-25 Stone Golem & Dark Stone Gollem, Wild Boar, Kerning Party Quest (KPQ is solely for $$, no longer good Exp)
Levels 25-30 Cold Eye & Curse Eye, Dark Stone Golem, Stopnow Party Quest (Ariant Coliseum) (Rarely used), Kerning PQ
Levels 30-35 Fire Boar, Wooden Masks and Rocky Masks at Excavation Site III, Monster Carnival
Levels 35-40 Monster Carnival, Party Quest (Ludibrium) (Rarely used), Cloud Fox, Wooden Mask & Rocky Mask,
Levels 40-50 Renegade Mushroom & Poison Mushroom, various Singapore monsters, Ligator, This is where 75% of Beginners quit, so yes it does get hard!
Levels 50-60 Sakura Cellion, Small Orbis Kittens, Ligator, various at Kerning City Square, Trucker.
Levels 60-70 Ratz & Black Ratz, Retz, Nightmare, Zombie Lupin, Big Orbis Cats, Trucker, Brown Teddy
Levels 70-80 Panda Teddy, Trucker, Toy Trojan (Good maps)), Black Ratz & Retz again or Big Orbis Cats (Burn loads of pots)
Levels 80-90 Nightmare, Trucker, Wild Cargo, Panda Teddy, Drumming Bunny, Toy Trojan, or Voodoo and Hoodoo, possibly Scuba Pepe
Levels 90-100 Scuba Pepe, Truckers and Windraider/"raiders"
Level 100+ Windraider, Selkie Jr. (Pot burner>, Jr. Cactus, Tic Tock, Trucker,

After Level 85 there is no realistic way of training, and generally people rely on leeching to level themselves, although it is expensive, so you need to be funded or be a good merchant in order to get enough money for leech.. but after Big Bang, several older spots have been bumped up to the high tiers. But their EXP to HP ratio is very poor, making leveling still hard. Try not to rely on PQs so much, as you are very weak, unless you have good damage, good equips, and perseverance.

Recomended Stat Builds

Beginners in reality are warriors without any skills. Thus they follow the warrior builds. There are 3 essential kinds of builds. Although you may say Beginners are a novitly and adding MP is cute, remember, Damage still counts

Normal Build

Firstly, there is the normal build. In this build you add 2 DEX per level, and the remaining 3 points into Strength.

This build allows you to make up for the lack of mastery the best and not miss as much, if you cannot afford accuracy equipment/weapons, this may be preferable.

Low Dex Build

In this build you stick to the build of 1 DEX per level. This HAS to be augmented by DEX and ACC equipment.

Generally this build is to be able to deal out more damage, at the cost of accuracy. Not that accuracy matters that much if your going to grind (since you won'd be able to train at places your level) but if you're going to PQ, (the best way for a perma-beginner to get enough experience to level up to Level 100), you're going to need a lot more accuracy

To attain enough accuracy, you use equipment such as the Pumpkin Spear and Brown Bandana for the Carnival Pq and Ariant PQ, and a Zhelm is a necessity. If you can not afford a Zhelm, this build will not go far.

No Dex Build

This build is not recomended; even though you will have the most damage, have fun doing your damage against snails and pigs. Also, the low accuracy makes it very hard to PQ. This build is more of a challenge, but abit a pointless one.

HP Build

Beginners have very low HP, comparible to a magician. And they don't have Magic Guard, so they can't replace damage done to HP with MP. Therefore it becomes nessisary to have some form of HP boost weather equips or stats. (Currently I'm testing seeing how a lvl 50 zhelm beginner will work, ie I'm adding a lot of HP). The more HP you add, the less damage you do. Therefore it's neccesary to strike a balance. On the other hand, little HP means you die a lot more, which is more of an annoyance since you don't lose EXP.

Each HP added gives you about 10-12 HP, or maybe more.

All Dex

All Dex build is more of for those who stay on Maple Island. This all dex build is just dex, untill you can 1-Hit KO Orange mushrooms at lvl 26 with a white rose (the best training at Maple Island)

Then, generally people add Luck in order to guarantee 100% miss from monsters so they use less money on potions.

Jump/Speed

Due to the lack of HP there is a way to add 'manual' avoidabilty in the form of speed or jump. By adding jump you can jump over monsters
