Introduction

Arr, matey! Welcome to my Gunslinger guide! This guide will help you with your very own Gunslinger! Captain Kyrin will not tolerate weaklings, and if you are a weakling, you shall walk the plank! Erghh!

The Gunslinger

The Gunslinger is a job released during the pains of the Dice Rolls (which do not exist anymore, thankfully). As a Gunslinger, your main weapon is the Gun, a long-ranged weapon used to shoot bullets. To become a Gunslinger, you must first endure the 1st stage of a Gunslinger, the Pirate.

Pros

Cons

  • Grenade is not spammable and you need to estimate how far you throw
  • Recoil Shot can back you up against monsters and possibly bosses
  • Some skills requires you to be in a Battleship
  • Double Shot is incredibly weak

Note: The Return of the Explorers event has made Double Shot stronger. Double Shot also has more range.

Ability Point Distribution

As a Gunslinger, you have 3 choices of AP (Ability Point) builds.

Standard Build

Leave Strength the exact same as your level. Assign the rest of your AP into Dexterity.

Example: A level 31 Gunslinger should have 31 STR and everything else in DEX.

Low STR Build

Distribute your AP so that STR is half of your level. Assign the rest of your AP into DEX.

Example: A level 30 Gunslinger should have 15 STR and everything else in DEX.

If your level is an odd number, give STR the lower half. (ex: a level 31 Gunslinger should have 15 STR and everything else in DEX)

Accuracy Build

Distribute your AP so that no AP is added to STR. Put everything in DEX to maximize Accuracy.

Example: A level 31 Gunslinger should have 4 STR and everything else in DEX.

Skills

Gunslingers have rapid attacks and also elemental attacks as well to support them.

Bolded Skill Level is the mastery level.

Bolded Skill in SP build means the skill should now be maxed.
