- Her father's name is Testonen, a savior who battled the Black Magician when Victoria Island and Ossyria split into two different islands. He asked Athena Pierce to take care of Kyrin before he left to track down the Black Magician. One day, she overheard during a meeting between town chiefs what had happened to her father, and disappeared. Athena searched everywhere looking for her, but did not succeed. Kyrin later came back to Victoria Island, a "pirate".
