Function of a Party

A party is formed so that a group of players can fight a monster that they wouldn't be able to defeat alone. They may also be formed to complete Party Quests. Some other Quests can be completed with the aid of a party, such as those that require the player to defeat a certain enemy a certain number of times. Also, some support skills such as Haste, Heal, and Bless can be used on others instead of just the caster, if the caster is in a party.

Parties also share experience and meso gains unless a party member gets the experience or mesos from a quest. Any items dropped from a monster killed by a member of your party may be picked up by you without having to wait the 10 second wait limit that is normally inflicted upon monster drops.
