note
-I play, and I write, so i know what I'm writing
-This guide was written AFTER stat rolling was removed in MSG (maple Story Global) and i will only use the global server's well (insert word that means 'This things workings')
-In progress; may take a bit, I'm going to get to LV 30 on all portions or the guide then go to the 60~70 range, then the 120 area, and finish, I'm currently working on the Str portion of the guide
warrior pro's\con's
Armor & weapons
1-10: whatever you get from monster drops and is given to you
11-19: again what is gotten by drops and you can get the shield from the 'fixing BlackBulls house' quest, if the 25th LV shield, buy the LV15 one, and get a weapon of choice (I recommend a LV15\LV20 sword or BW, for later of course)
20: get a blue kendo robe, because a +5 to Str is good, and its better than anything els at this level, stick with the weapon you chose 11-19
25-29: Dark Master Sergeant W/ kilt, again Str is useful
30-34: anything you can wear that is bought in orbs (yes I expect you to be willing to move off Victorian)
35-39:save some cash and wait a bit, use what you received as drops from monsters
stat build
Build 1: Balance
-this is best for new players-
LV1-15
1-4: 5 Str (this is for the base requirements)
5: 3 Str, 2 DEX (CONGRADULATIONS, YOU NOW HAVE THE REQUIERD STRENTH TO BECOME A WARRIOR!!! 'o' )
6-10: 5 DEX a level (this is to make up for the DEX drought in LV 1-4, so you have at least LV times 2 DEX)
11-14: 3 Str, 2 DEX
15: 5 Str (if you want to hit harder) OR 5 DEX (if you want to hit more)
LV16-30, Str
-This is best for those who want to hit harder and took 5 Str at LV15-
16-20: 3 DEX, 5 Str (more balance)
20-30:
LV16-30, DEX
-This is for those who want to hit more\train oh harder foes and took 5 DEX at LV 15-
AP build: beginner
Skills
Icon | Skill Name | Description | Type | Mastered | Element | Prerequisites |
Three Snails | Hurls snail shells to attack monsters from long distance. | Active | 3 | x | -
Recovery | Enables the user to recover HP constantly for 30 sec. | Supportive | 3 | x | -
Nimble Feet | Enables the character to move around quickly for a short amount of time. | Supportive | 3 | x | -
Blessing of the Fairy | Skill Point will increase by 1 when the related character reaches above Lv.10. | Supportive | 20 | x | -
Empress's Blessing | Grants 1 skill level for every 5 levels your highest level Cygnus character has. Between Blessing of the Fairy and Empress's Blessing, the higher increase is applied. | Supportive | 30 | x | -
Link Manager | Allows you to manage your Link Skills, either by sharing with other characters on your account, or by choosing which skills to use on this character. | Supportive | 1 | x | Must reach level 10.
Echo of Hero | Increase weapon attack and magic attack on all players around. | Supportive | 1 | x | Must be a level 200.
Maple Return | Return to Maple Island. | Supportive | 1 | x | Must reach 2nd Job.
Will of the Alliance | Strong force is released according to the Willpower of the Alliance. | Passive | 1 | x | Complete The Birth of an Alliance. |
Just put your AP anywhere, but 3 snails it only good for mages seeing that it is a magic attack and con only hit things in maple Island seeing that they have no evasion, but in maple global it does not need shells anymore, your choice. I recommend recovery and nimble feet(i think that nimble feet is the most useful) but only put AP into 2 skills
AP build: swordsman
Icon | Skill Name | Description | Type | Mastered | Prerequisites |
War Leap | Use while in the middle of a jump to jump even further. The jumping distance increases as the skill level increases. | Supportive | 10 | -
Iron Body | Temporarily boosts Weapon Defense. Permanently increases Max HP by a percentage. Decreases damage taken when hit by enemies within range. | Supportive | 20 | -
Warrior Mastery | Trains up your warrior basics to increase Movement Speed, Jump, Max HP, and Max Movement Speed. Also grants a chance to resist knockback. | Passive | 15 | -
Slash Blast | Consumes MP to attack nearby enemies all at once. | Active | 20 | - |
Thoughts on the skills
-Improving HP Recovery(HPrec):well its kinda useful... but why not just use the relaxer, ya know, but really you can do whatever
-Improving Max HP Increase(HPinc): Apparently some noobs never put ANY AP in this skill, um so for u noobs who did this that drops your HP by about half by LV 4X, or you get the idea, so just max the darn thing its so much better than not, ya you lose out on other skills, this is so much better than any of them so just max it; Summary=MAX ASAP!
-Endure:At least 1 Ap into it, but it depends on who you are
-Iron Body: Some say its a waste Others build builds for it that are biased off it, i say it can save you an HP pot if used correctly, but I don't care what you do
-Power Strike(PS): Ok so PS is a good move, and your main one until the third job, and can be used up until the third job, maybe into the fourth, this is one to max out, definitely
-Slash Blast:Same as PS (I don't want to repeat myself)

OK, so this is the basic Warrior build if you want another build, FIND ANOTHER GUIDE!

11: 3 to HPrec

16:1-3 to PS/1-2 to SB
17-28:1-3 to PS/1-3 to SB, until both are MAX

Training Spots
1-10: Area, Maple Island
Do ONLT the Maple Island Quests until they run out (or you hit LV10 W/50% XP). This is due to a path i have see on maple island that i took with my once-pre-mage-but-now-archer(Gilithis), and Pre-Cleric(Zentatos\ Zenthatos\*Zenthaos[preferred name for him]), almost all the quests were completed with Zenthatos so a warrior who needs to get to LV 10, and not 8 should be good doing that.
11-35:I'll get to later
35-40:chronos at lidioum are great mesos, also you can get a lv 35 shield (ether them or brown teddies, cant remember)
