Q: What is Yellonde?
 
A: Yellonde is a brand new world starting with 13 new channels in MapleGlobal. Yellonde is equivalent to Scania, Bera, Broa, Windia, Khaini, Bellocan, Mardia, and Kradia in every aspect, having the same maps, same NPCs and same quests. This new world provides more room for adventure in MapleGlobal.
 
Q: Why should I go to Yellonde?
 
A: Yellonde is currently the least populated world in MapleGlobal. Therefore, Yellonde is a great world if you would like to experience more area boss kills, less Channel Changing for party quests, less Kill-Stealing, and just be by yourself while training. However, also due to the population, it can be hard to find party members, buy/sell items in the Free Market, and find help from other players.
 
Q: How do I go to Yellonde?
 
A: Will my character be reset? If you are an existing player, your current character(s) will remain as they are, in Scania, Bera, Broa, Windia, Khaini, Bellocan, Mardia, and Kradia. You may use your existing Maple account to visit Yellonde. A new registration is not needed unless you are new to MapleStory.
 
Simply select Yellonde when you are in the "World Selection" screen. When you first log in, there are no characters in this world. Not to worry as your existing characters are still safe in Scania, Bera, Broa, Windia, Khaini, Bellocan, Mardia, and Kradia. In Yellonde, you will have to start with new character(s), which means with 1 MapleStory account, you can now create 27 characters (3 in each world).
 
Q: Can I train my existing characters in Yellonde?
 
A: Existing character(s) in Scania, Bera, Broa, Windia, Khaini, Bellocan, Mardia, and Kradia are not transferable to Yellonde unless you buy the character transfer from Cash shop. You will need to start a new character in Yellonde, if you do not have it. So if the traffic is too heavy for you in Scania, Bera, Broa, Windia, Khaini, Bellocan, Mardia, and Kradia, you may find it easier to train your new character in Yellonde! Likewise, Yellonde character will not be able to move to Scania, Bera, Broa, Windia, Khaini, Bellocan, Mardia, and Kradia worlds without the character exchange from cash shop.
 
 
Q: Can my IGNs in Scania, Bera, Broa, Windia, Khaini, Bellocan, Mardia, and Kradia be used in Yellonde?
 
A: Your IGNs in Scania, Bera, Broa, Windia, Khaini, Bellocan, Mardia, and Kradia are protected. Therefore, they will not be usable in Yellonde.

On June 11th, 2012, the Yellonde Server joined a Server Alliance with: [[Chaos]], [[Mardia]] and [[Kradia]]. These servers will share the same playing world (Players from all 4 worlds will play with each other) but players are allowed to make characters on all 4 servers, which means people will have quadruple the amount of players for that world. All the characters are still separated by worlds, so the rankings won't change. The number of channels has been increased to 20.

Yellonde is the ninth Server of Global MapleStory. It was released in 2008. The server is generally seen as one of the lowest populated, second only to Kradia. Kradia was a formerly elitist world because it was unpopulated in the years after its release, however due to the Server Alliance, there is much more people.

World Alliance

These servers will share the same playing world (Players from all 4 worlds will play with each other) but players are allowed to make characters on all 4 servers, which means people will have quadruple the amount of players for that world. All the characters are still separated by worlds, so the rankings won't change. The number of channels has been increased to 20.
