If you don't want completely repetitive use of power guard, or you aren't funded (it's even more fun if you have funds though) use this one.

HP Warriors

Warriors are one of the 5 "explorer" jobs you can get in this game, they are known for their high melee damage and high HP. However as an HP warrior you will have even greater amounts of HP, but terrible damage for a long time. Here are their Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Very fun to Make if you have patience
  • Truckloads of HP...
  • You can train at Skelegons if you can find a nice bishop at level 40
  • Power Guard, I think never misses, even tough it pales in comparison to the never-miss funded Meso Explosion (but we're not here to talk about Chief Bandits)
  • If you do you're AP builds well, you can still do that warrior style damage
  • It's now better to have less defense (I'll explain later if you don't get it)

Cons

  • Almost impossible to get to the point where you are actually useful
  • Power Guard damage is halved against bosses (this is slightly okayed because you will become a boss-runner Sader at level 100-ish)
  • Damage is terrible before power guard and/or good equips
  • Terrible in monster carnival and such

Perfect stats for a Dexless Warrior

Note:as an HP warrior I recomend Dexless roll because you can save up more AP for HP, also in MapleGlobal (there is no dice roll), as you just get 35 Str. when you get your job, just save all 45 AP you get, just do it.

The Beginning

Beginner

Okay so you have created your character... Now what? I won't give you in-depth explanations, but here is one tip to remember CLICK ON NPC'S (Non-Playable Character) THAT HAVE A LIGHTBULB OVER THEIR HEAD,this means that they have a quest, what is a quest? A quest is a series of actions following instruction by an npc, completing forsaid set of instruction will yield a reward. You press that play button and your playing! So you are on Maple Island and now you should be doing the easy quests such as roger's apple and MAKE SURE YOU DO PIO'S QUEST TO GET THE RELAXER, it is one of the most important items you can get, also do please bring this letter to lucas to get a good hat. Also I also would do Lucas' Farm and if you are lucky you will get the rarest work glove, the Brown Work Glove, otherwise try to get one that adds some in your main stat (red work glove), if not you can go to JM from tha Streetz if you are really desperate later on. Oh yeah before we go on, look at the bottom of the screen, you will see three bars, you will probably know what two or so of them are. The red bar is the HP Bar, look you should know what this is, but when you take damage from a monster the damage you take is subtracted from the current amount of HP you have and some of the red on the bar goes bye-bye, when there is no more red and your HP hits zero a tombstone drops down and you will be given a message to be teleported to the nearest town, and when you get your job you lose 5%-10% exp, the blue bar is the one you might not be familiar with, it is MP (mana point), everytime you use attack, excluding the ctrl (default) attack you use a predetermined amount of MP, normally, with several exceptions ther stronger the skill is, the more MP you use. Exp. the yellow bar, it tells you how much exp you need to level up, how much you have right now, and how much percentage it is out of the exp. you need in total. If you need anymore info on this stuff, just search it on the left, we must get going...

Three snails

Skill Progression by Level

  1. Snail Shell -1, MP -10; Damage 10
  2. Blue Snail Shell -1, MP -15; Damage 25
  3. Red Snail Shell -1, MP -20; Damage 40

MAX THIS. As you are an HP warrior your damage will be low and inaccurate, max three snails as with 35 strength, without really good equips for accuracy and attack three snails is very useful before power guard.

Nimble feet

NimbleFeet.gif

Well this basically increases your speed by 20% which is okay, but since its more useful than recovery, max it after three snails.

Skill Progression by Level

  1. MP -10; speed +10 for 4 sec.
  2. MP -15; speed +15 for 8 sec.
  3. MP -20; speed +20 for 12 sec.

Recovery

Recovery.gif

This allows you to recover even more additional HP every ten seconds and continuously, clerics replace this skill... And in my opinion you don't really need it...

Skill Progression by Level

  1. MP -10; Recover 24 HP in 30 sec.
  2. MP -20; Recover 48 HP in 30 sec.
  3. MP -30; Recover 72 HP in 30 sec.

AP distribution

Ability points(AP) are put into stats to improve them five are rewarded per level up.
Hp warriors have among the most unique skill builds it all depends on several things.

If you are funded and can afford to buy super-duper high weapon attack and accuracy equips, or just plain don't need Str or dex I recomend this build

Levels 1-14- Save 5 AP
Level 15- 48 in HP
Levels 16-100ish- 5 in HP
Levels 100ish-200- Well just cap dex at 100 and the rest into Str.

With this build you get 30k (the max ammount of HP) as soon as possible, but the repetitive power guard get's annoying... If you can't afford accuracy equips just follow the normal ap build from 100ish-200. Note: Are my "ish's" getting annoying yet?

If you don't want completely repetitive use of power guard, or you aren't funded (it's even more fun if you have funds though) use this one.

Levels 1-14- Save 5 AP
Level 15- 70 in HP
Levels 16-50- 5 in HP
51-120ish-3 in HP 2 in Str/3 in HP 1 in Str 1 in Dex
120ish-200- Funded- 5 Str Not funded- 4 Str 1 Dex

Well you get max HP later, but you stil get it, because normal attacks require accuracy you will need either godly equips (funded) or points in dex (not funded).

Confusing? Well your an HP warrior, it's complicated. Well the build you choose depends on your funds for accuracy and attack equips or attention span.
