Guide for a Thief

(i will make certain changes in this article as this is my first article so don't criticize me about it)(ADDED: I fast typed this article in the morning so you may not that it is not somethimes clear)(ADDED: I have cleared and made this better)

Thief

Thieves are claw/dagger players which make them one of the most used classes in Maplestory. It is an expensive and tiresome class, but it does offer some great rewards. Thieves are also one of the most well-known KSers in MapleStory, which might get you reported.

Achieving level 10

Once you have achieved level 10 and you have 25 DEX you will become a ceritified Thief. You will start off as a Rogue and work your way up. You have the choice of being trained by yourself or by the quest that "Dark Lord" assigns to you.

Thief Level 10-30

This enduring long journey of leveling will take about a 1 month or two, so I recommend saving enough cash for buying some objects to use as weapons to throw.

Trainings

These are the training places you should head to. Some of them may contain Party Quest (NOTE:I have not put quest in here)

Levels 10-15 Henesys Hunting Ground, This area contains Snail,Slime,Orange Mushrooms, and Green Mushroom or also try Henesys Party Quest

Levels 15-20 Just train by killing some Slimes around Henesys. If you are a hard hitter, try Orange Mushrooms for a new, faster experienced monster. Also try Henesys Party Quest

20-30 I would recommend doing the Kerning Party Quest as it is a fast experience party quest with loads of free equipments to use. I would also try doing the quest Mystery of Niora Hospital to obtain high avoidability cape. Another one is Maya and the Weird Medicine to claim a Brown Bamboo Hat which is extremely useful when you are trying to get a high LUK level.

30 Job Advancement Finally! You've accomplished your goal! Now claim about 100 orange potions and 50 mana potions to get your Proof of a Hero, After that's completed and you have obtained Proof of Hero, head back and speak to the Dark Lord and choose to become an Assassin.

Extras

  • You have the ability to complete all the quests, if you are willing to do it, as it may take a long time.
  • Once you are Level 30 and with low DEX points, try buying a Sauna Robe or a Bathrobe or simply just earn them in a quest or buying it somewhere.
  • If you can get your hands on a scrolled Meba you will hit quite hard.
  • Try to get a throwing star that is not below 19+ as it may be classified as weak. One way of getting a good star is by buying Icicles which are only 30k each. A decent, offer but it may vary in different worlds.
  • Don't try to get banned in MapleStory
