What are my goals?
|
I plan to fix up many of these pages, but with heavy emphasis on formatting. I feel that although MapleStory does not have a completed wiki site, Mapletip is one of the closest to that completion. Unfortunately, formatting is not uniform (or even complete in some areas) and thus many pages are just a list of information. I see Mapletip as a large-scale project that I myself will never complete; I won't even get halfway. Despite the weight of this task, I know that even the smallest modifications can make a difference, so I plan on trying to find a template that will work for many of these pages.
- Create a Location infobox. It will be found here.
- Tag unused files for deletion.
- Move pages to correct pagenames.
- Become a curator of Userboxes.
- Slay the Spam dragon.
- Level up the wiki's User-friendliness to 99.
- Find a way to create similar "For other uses" template. (See above)
- Find a bot which can alleviate much of this work.

Formatting wants
|
- Image files uploaded in a single format!
- Image file names with the full name (including punctuation). No abbreviations.
- Move all guides from the Community Portal to the Guide section on the main page.
- Tag unused articles, stubs, and opinionated articles for deletion.
- Create a new category to mark pages in dire need of information.
- Link above category to the Help section.
- Reiterate the fact that this is a wiki, not a forum. Wikis document the game, not the opinions of those who play the game. Opinions should stay in discussion pages, project pages, and talk pages - not the article itself.
