Please do not edit if there are mistakes please list them here and i will try to revise my guide as much as possible.

Suggestions:

This guide is to help both beginner magicians and experienced players that are not funded or funded in MapleGlobal level up extremely fast for levels 8-20 since it does take a quite amount of time and patience(and a sh%#load of blue potions) to level up a magician the regular way. I will be giving as much detailed information on the places I've mentioned to help you as much as i can. My character is level 20 Shiningk3y in Scania and i had a level 52 Assasin, level 26 Warrior and level 32 Cleric but i lost my account password and email so i had to create a new one o.0 lost my Maple weapons & armors....ugh

THE BEGINNING

1. Maple Island

(Note: AP Build is Every level is +4 INT & LUK +1. LUK should be lvl +3)

Well, the best monsters to train on would be the Green & Blue snails and the Shrooms. First off, why would people say to max out Snail Throw skill if they only want you to train on green snails? Allocate your skills correctly. First skill point is to be put into snail throw and kill the green snails with their own shell and some blue snails. Once you've run out of the green shells, put another skill point into snail throw. Start killing blue snails if you've gathered some earlier. Put every other skill point into something else because you'll rarely collect red shells. and don't forget to do some of the easy quests. You should have 2 on snail shells, 3 on recovery and 1 on Nimble Feet, sorry I forgot the skill names. Train until level 7 40% exp then go to Victoria Island.

2. Victoria Island

First off, CONGRATZ ON NOT QUITTING ON MAKING IT TO VICTORIA ISLAND!!! Lol cause most people do. Now go to Olaf and do that quest to get at least 70% when level 7. Now go to Ellinia and talk to Grendel the Really Old to reach level 8. I know begginer magicians always ask for at least 5,000 mesos when they first reach ellinia to buy armor and equips. Well, begging is pretty newbish and I advise not to do it. So this is what you do, if you have at least 1,000-2,000 mesos, you buy a wooden wand and buy a return scroll to Ellinia from the potion shop. Now if you don't have enough mesos to buy scrolls, then just go straight to Henesys.

SKILL ALLOCATION

Before you read ahead, i want to post the method i used to level up my skills and i believe its better than the Magic Claw Guide posted here.

Level 8 = Energy Bolt +1

Level 9 = Mp Recov + 3

Level 10 = Mp Recov +2, Improving Max MP Increase +1

Level 11-13 = Improving Max MP Increase +3 (Maxed)

Level 14-24 = Imp. Max Mp Increase +1 until Max, Magic Claw +2 until Max, Magic Guard +2 on level 24

Level 25-30 = Magic Guard +3 until Max

End Results:

Mp Recov = 16(Max)

MP Increase = 10(Max)

Magic Guard = 20(Max)

Magic Armor = 0

Energy Bolt = 1

Magic Claw = 20(Max)

(Note: build is recommended for first training method since you max mp recov a little slower than regular)

TRAINING AREAS

1. Henesys Party Quest

There is in fact a Henesys Party Quest and it is located near the storage guy in Mushroom Park area, but go to channel 1 and get a party with at a least 2 Magicians that are lvl 19+ because they can kill the mosters in one hit. This becomes easier for you because you can ask them to do all the work and I'm sure they'll be okay with that. Now, this method will only work if you're party leader can Party Quest Rush(When quest is finished, you go straight out of the quest instead of doing the bonus and straight into the PQ again. This is a very fast means of leveling. This method can get you to level 20 in a mere 1 day if you play straight and if you're strong party members do not log off(not recommened because of eyesight and fatigue, GO EXCERSIZE XD)

Leveling Consistency if level 8 Magician:

1 Hour of Rushing = lvl 11-13 depending on your party

2 Hour of Rushing = lvl 13-16 depending on your party

3 Hour of Rushing = lvl 16-18 depending on your party

4 Hour of Rushing = lvl 18-20 depending on your party

(Note: You're party won't always be successful in rushing if other parties have track that is why the leveling varies and i have had personal experience by this method of leveling)

This method saves mesos because you do not spend a ton of money on armour and pots if you've allocated your SP correctly. One more thing, you do not recieve mesos from the quest..yeah bummer right? Just ask the highest leveled person in you party for at least 5,000-10,000 mesos and begging is bad but if you're not slightly funded then you pretty much have no choice. Remeber the scrolls I've told you to purchase while in your first visit as a magician, use one everytime you have met the prerequisites for a certain wand/staff, and everytime you visit make sure to buy at least 1 return scroll from the potion shop.(Note: do not spend money on armours when visiting Ellinia for the wands or staffs!)

(Now since you've haven't any mesos, i suggest training on orange mushrooms and collect all mesos dropped to buy armour, i recommend begginer clothes in Lith Harbor even if you are funded because it provides a little more def than magician armour)

IF YOU'VE CHOSEN THIS METHOD THEN CONGRATZ ON REACHING LEVEL 20 IN 1-2 DAYS!!! AFTER, FINISH THE LEVEL 20- QUESTS TO GET AT LEAST ONE LEVEL!!

2. Regular Method

Well, I'm pretty sure all you people who've been to this site have already seen other guides on magician training but just incase I'll add the monster recommended list.

Level 8-15 = Henesys Training Grounds 1 Bottom Section: Blue & Red Snails + Shrooms

Level 15-20 = Henesys Training Grounds 1 Middle Sections: Green Slimes + Orange Mushrooms + Blue & Red Snails + Stumps.

(Also try finishing quests to get levels faster.)

CONGRATZ FOR TAKING THE VERY LONG AND MESO EARNING WAY TO LEVEL 20!!! XD THIS WAY IS GOOD TOO BECAUSE YOU CAN GET LUCKY WITH DROPS AND JUST SELL'EM FOR MESOS BUT THEN AGAIN YOU WOULD NEED TO BUY POTS WITH IT SO THERE'S NO POINT -_-.

3. Path to Cleric and/or Wizard

Level 20-23 = Forest West of Ellinia: Green Mushrooms(reason for this is because you can receive a "Pan Lid" shield instead of buying one for 25,000-100,000 mesos. Trust me, a complete waste of money for just def +10)

Level 23-25 = Kerning City Subway: Bubblings for their drops for quests. If not just read next training area.

Level 23-30 = Kerning City Party Quest: Again steady means of leveling and go to channels 1&2 for a party or you could party with the ones you've partied in HPQ.

CONGRATZ ON REACHING LEVEL 30!!! NOW RETURN TO ELLINIA AND TALK TO GRENDEL THE REALLY OLD ON INSTRUCTIONS ON BECOMING A WIZARD OR CLERIC!!
