The best Class For Close Combat

Cons:

Very Low Mp

Damage is unstable (until 2nd job-mastery)

Doesnt have a lot of accuracy

Not ranged (Until 3rd job)

2. Creating a Character and Leveling it

Start Maplestory, Login, And create a Character in the World of your Choice. You shouldnt be Worried about the "Stats Rolling Dice" because Nexon deleted it and did a Stats reset at level 10. From levels 1-10 Add all Your Sp into "STRENGHT". You begin at Maple Island at level 1. Go do quests and Kill some snails to level up to level 9. It is Important to do the "Pio resting chair Quest", so that you will have a chair to rest with.(Recovers 50 HP and 4 MP every 5 seconds)

As a Beginner You will gain 6 Skill Points to put in different Begginer Skills:

1. Nimble Feet

Master level 3

It makes you walk faster for a set period of time.

Level 1: MP-10 Speed +10 for 4 seconds

Three Snails

Master level 3

Enables the user to throw Snails Shells at enemys

Level 1: MP-3 damage 10

Level 2: MP-5 damage 25

Level 3: MP-7 damage 40

It is Recommended to put the SP into "Recovery" and "Nimble Feet", because as a warrior you will do high damage and you wont need the three snails skill.

3. Becoming A Swordman

At level 9 Stop training at 50% and go to Victoria Island. Go do "Olaf Path Choosing Quest". When you finished talking to him Go to Perion.(by taxi or by foot) When you'll talk to "Dances with Balrog" (Warrior instructor guide) Finish Olaf quest and You will level up. Then you can advance into a warrior.

(To advance into a swordman you need to talk to Dances with balrog when you are level 10 and you have at least 35 STR.)

After you advance you should Follow this Rule: DEXTERITY = 2x your level, STRENGHT = All the Sp that is left.

If you are level 12 Your Dex should Be 24. If you are level 29 Your Dex should Be 58.

Your Dex should be Twice your level, Until the DEX reaches 70-80. The best is to stop the Dex at 75, So that with the equips it will reach 78-82

After you have becomed a SWORDMAN you will have 35 Str and 4 in dex, int and luk. Put AP in dex until it reaches 20 And the rest to STR.

4.Swordman Skills and build

Congrats you have becomed a Swordman!

As a Swordman you have 6 New Skills:

1.Improving HP Recovery.

The best warrior build:

This is probably the best Build of the Warrior as it maxes all your active skills, while maxing first the skills that gives the most Max Hp.

Notes: Putting any Sp in Iron Body is not necessary because at higher levels 40 Physical Defense is barely helping. (Its only 13-18 damage more and the monsters will do 200+)

Putting the level 10 first Sp in Power Strike isn't good because youll get more Max Hp putting it in Hp increase.

From level 15 and onwards you can decide if maxing Power Strike or Slash Blast first. It all depends if you like Mobbing or Dealing Great hits on 1 monster first.

level 10 : 1 in (Hp recovery)

level 11-12 : 4 in (Hp recovery) 2 in (Max Hp Increase)

level 13-15 : 8 in (Max hp Increase-MAXED) 1 in (Power Strike)

level 16-22 : 19 in (Power Strike-MAXED) 2 in (Slash Blast)

level 23-28 : 18 in (Slash Blast-MAXED)

level 29-30 : 6 in (Endure) OR (Hp recovery)

5.Training Places levels 10-30

level 10-15 : Henesys PQ (exp is tremendous), Henesys Hunting Ground 1

level 15-20 : Pig Beach, Henesys PQ, Henesys Hunting Ground 2

level 20-25 : Kerning city Subway, Pig Beach, Perion Wild Boars. (Kerning city PQ is not recommended because you won't hit the Crocos)

level 25-30 : Kerning city PQ, Perion Wild Boars, Dungeon.

6. 2nd Job Advancement

Congrats you have reached level 30! Now this is what you need to do:

At level 30 go talk to Dances with Balrog. He wants to see if you are worthy of being 2nd job and he will give you a Letter. Take 50 White Potions and 50 Blue Potions and go Left of Perion. Now go through the Portal that wont go to Kerning city. Continue until you will see a NPC. Talk to him and he will give you a challenge, to kill monsters inside a hidden map, and collect 30 dark marbles from them. When you finish collecting the marbles, talk to him and he will give you "The proof of a Hero". Now return to Dances with Balrog and you can finally become a Fighter.

7. Fighters Pros and Cons

Pros:

They get the most HP out of all the classes.

Good at killing individual monsters.

When Crusader you will reach 20-30k damage from Panic.

They get Rage, a +12 weapon attack Party Skill, Thus they are wanted in Partys.

Fast attacks.

Cons:

They have very low MP.

Their Mobbing attack is not so good.

Pretty hard to Level up.
