The Old Tree

The Old Tree is retired from Maplestory and is no longer obtainable in the game. This item may still exist in-game on characters who obtained it prior to its removal.

Requirements

• Available to all
• Level 35 and above

Procedure

1. Talk to Winston in East Rocky Mountain II.
2. Complete the following quests:

• Truth of the Rumour - Ayan
• Truth of the Rumour - Blackbull
• Truth of the Rumour - Dances with Balrog
• Truth of the Rumour - Manji
• Truth of the Rumour - Dr. Betty

1. After you have completed all the mentioned quests, head back to Winston and talk to him.

Select the option: "But I did hear some interesting stories."

Rewards

• 100 experience

Stump Research

Items needed: Dry Branch x100

Procedure

1. Talk to Winston at East Rocky Mountain II.
2. Hunt for 100 Dry Branches from Stump, Dark Stump, Axe Stump or Dark Axe Stump.
3. Return to him after you have collected the items.

Rewards

• 470 experience

Procedure

1. Talk to Winston once again.
2. Eliminate 1 Stumpy.
3. Return to him after you have completed the given task.

Rewards

• 600 experience
• 5 Fame

Notes

• Stumpy can be found at North Rocky Mountain: Gusty Peak.
• The Dry Branches will only drop from monsters once the section "Stump Research" has been initiated.
  • Of all of the monster that drop Dry Branches, Dark Axe Stump has the highest drop rate.
