A high ranking member of the Black Wings. Baroq is a master of disguise, able to penentrate Ereve island despite the protection from Shinshoo, the guardian spirit.

  • Weapon Attack: 800
  • Magic Attack: 800
  • The damage is unknown, but based on the damage done to me in the battle, these are my guesses

Status Afflictions

Baroq can:

  • Seal your attacks
  • Zombify you to lower the effectiveness of potions
  • Dispel all of your current buffs (Only seems to happen when he is below half health)

Notes

  • Defeating Baroq, picking up the Lost Treasure he drops and talking to your Chief Knight will upgrade you to a Third Job Knight of Cygnus.
  • Hard to beat as a Blaze Wizard, as he can seal you and dispel your buffs, including Magic Guard, meaning that if you don't pay attention you can be killed in 1 or 2 hits.
  • Baroq's main attack knocks you back a distance and stuns you for a second, much like Zeno and Timer. This is referred to as the boss version of "power knockback."
