Is there anyway to make it so that the pics lead to the article? (e.g. the Perion pic leading to the article about Perion, instead of to the pic's description) --Champion911 14:56, 10 March 2006 (CST)
- Yeah, it's possible, at least to a certain degree. Using [<link URL> <image URL>] as a code, where <link URL> and <image URL> is the actual URL to the target and the image, not just wiki-style links—[Perion Image:Perion_wiki.jpg] does not work, as you can see.
The code [http://www.mapletip.com/maplewiki/index.php/Perion http://www.mapletip.com/maplewiki/images/0/0f/Perion_wiki.-jpg] on the other hand, works:
- The obvious side effect is the little blue box with an arrow; as far as I know, there isn't any way around this... but it's not really a problem, right? :) I don't know. --Vaffel 17:00, 10 March 2006 (CST)
Wow! That sure helps =) Thx alot. --Champion911 17:08, 10 March 2006 (CST)
Wait. It doesn't seem to be working, or im doing something wrong. Check out the main article for details.
- It had to do with the spaces and linebreaks in the URL, it seems. Uh, anywai~. Fixed it for you. :). --Vaffel 17:33, 10 March 2006 (CST)
But I really don't understand. When I duplicated the perion code shown above by typing it into the text, it showed up as the wierd text and the un-clickable picture. However, when I copied and pasted the code, it showed up like the one above. Why is that? The copied code worked, but the exact same code copied letter for letter didn't work. --Champion911 17:39, 10 March 2006 (CST)
- Uh... yeah... Well, that's, uh, odd? :3. Oh, right, I think I know. You copied the code I wrote? I thought I pointed it out, but I was kinda in a hurry: I had to modify it slightly in order to not have it appear as an image link. I put in an extra hyphen or whatever in front of jpg, see? ... Perion_wiki.-jpg]. To get the code to work, one would have to remove the hyphen (or whatever it's called). Sorry for any confusion, this was my fault. :) --Vaffel 17:50, 10 March 2006 (CST)
