Talk:Scams
Supporting the scammers?
The author of this article wrote it using words like "If Player2 is too careless to pay attention to scams, he/she deserves to be scammed, in a sense." This type of language is used several times. The article almost seems to support the scammers, and criticize the victims. My opinion aside, this article also puts forth false information, saying that scams are NOT an illegal in game activity. This is NOT true, as I have seen personally. Scamming is a reportable in-game offense, and this article suggests that if you are scammed, then there is nothing you can do about it. This is WRONG and could lead to scamming becoming more successful, if players start letting the scammers get away with it. Comments are welcome.
(another reader) Well, I might be blind but I can't find any of of those things you wrote, and this ,,guide monstly can be used to teach scamming rather than preveting, is there a scamming preventing guide arround here? Maybe someone can summon one from another dimmension? XD(lol)
Learn to read better. At the bottom of the guide is a How NOT to be scammed page link. The author put that in the guide. Use that to prevent scammers. It works!
This is literally the most biased article I've ever seen. This article is the farthest thing from being neutral. --Waddle D33 03:08, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
