Cofeetup's skill build:

Beginner Job

Infiltrate (3, max) Potion Mastery (3, max) Crystal Throw (3, max)

Crystal Throw will be completely obsolete soon but will be powerful for a Beginner. Infiltrate is useful for faster movement but the difference it makes is tiny. Potion Mastery is easily the best skill here as it actually has a noticeable effect, especially later on with Siege Mode.

Recommended order of operations: First Crystal Throw, then Infiltrate, and lastly Potion Mastery (you won't be using many potions as a Beginner).

First Job

Gatling Gun (15, max) ME-07 Drillhands (20, max) Flame Launcher (20, max) Mech: Prototype (10, max)

Gatling Gun is pretty useless since you rarely ever see single enemies. Flame Launcher is your best mobbing skill for now. Drillhands is occasionally handy for grouping enemies together. Mech: Prototype gives a fabulous weapon attack bonus.

Recommended order of operations: Get one level of Flame Launcher and one level of Drillhands, then pump Prototype (it increases the damage of Flame Launcher more than Flame Launcher does). After Prototype is maxed, max Flame Launcher, then max Drillhands, and lastly dump the rest of your SP into the useless Gatling.

Second Job

Mechanic Mastery (20, max) Heavy Weapon Mastery (13) Physical Training (10, max) Mechanic Rage (20, max) Perfect Armor (20, max) Atomic Hammer (20, max) Open Portal: GX-9 (10, max) Rocket Booster (10, max)

Mastery, Rage, Training, and Portal are all essential to max. Perfect Armor is useful later on for helping you siege, and Rocket Booster is slightly helpful for mobbing. Heavy Weapon Mastery and Atomic Hammer are inconsequential as they go obsolete, but fortunately there are enough skill points to max one of them. Atomic Hammer is typically preferred for its good mobbing damage, but you could swap it for Heavy Weapon Mastery (Flame Launcher does have a nice horizontal range after all).

Recommended order of operations: Get one point in Atomic Hammer and Rocket Booster, then pump Mechanic Mastery till maxed. Invest in Physical Training along the way if you need more STR for equipment, and max it after Mechanic Mastery. Then max Atomic Hammer, then Mechanic Rage, then Open Portal. Bring Heavy Weapon Mastery up to 13, and lastly max Perfect Armor and Rocket Booster.

Third Job

Punch Launcher (20, max) Mech: Siege Mode (20, max) Metal Fist Mastery (13) Rock 'n Shock (20, max) Roll of the Dice (20, max) Acceleration Bot EX-7 (15, max) Overclock (15, max) Satellite (10, max) Healing Robot H-LX (10, max)

All of these skills are fairly useful in some way or another. The only ones that go obsolete are Punch Launcher and Metal Fist Mastery - we can afford to max one of these, and Punch Launcher is probably the preferred for its higher damage and wider horizontal range (though it can be swapped for Metal Fist Mastery).

Recommended order of operations: Get one level of Punch Launcher and Rock 'n Shock, and if you feel like bossing get a level in Siege. First max Overclock, then max Punch Launcher. Max Satellite, Rock 'n Shock, Accelerator, and Dice in the order of your choice - they're roughly equally helpful. Then max Siege for LHC. Next max Healing Robot, and dump the last of the points into Metal Fist Mastery.

Fourth Job

Extreme Mech (30, max) Mech: Missile Tank (30, max) Laser Blast (30, max) Giant Robot SG-88 (23) Bots 'n Tots (30, max) Satellite Safety (20, max) Amplifier Robot AF-11 (20, max) Robot Mastery (15, max) Double Down (5, max) Hero's Will (5, max) Maple Warrior (30, max)

Extreme Mech, Double Down, Robot Mastery, and Maple Warrior are excellent skills for all purposes. Laser Blast and Bots 'n Tots are great for mobbing while Amplifier and Satellite Safety are great for bossing. Hero's Will, as always, is useful against certain bosses. Giant Robot is almost completely useless as it takes more time and does less damage than a single laser blast. Its only purpose is mowing down enemies that you will one-shot anyway, though it isn't even that good at it due to the hefty cooldown, so it's definitely the skill to not max. Missile Tank's MP cost decreases as you level it up, which is at least somewhat helpful for Siege.

Recommended order of operations: First points go to get one level of Missile Tank, Laser Blast, and Satellite Safety. Max Extreme Mech first, then Double Down, then Maple Warrior (9/19/29, depending on what mastery books you can get). Now if you train by mobbing, max Laser Blast then Bots 'n Tots then Robot Mastery - for bossing, max Amplifier then Satellite Safety then Robot Mastery. After Robot Mastery, go back and max the other two skills so that you're good for both mobbing and bossing. Then proceed to max Missile Tank, and max Hero's Will when you get it. Once all of that's maxed you can dump the last of the SP into Giant Robot.
