You could just link people to the official Wikimedia help page Help:Editing. If you want to make your own guide anyway, you should go to Help:Advanced Editing and read about the <nowiki> code, so you don't have to add in "without the periods". Happy guidewriting! Zanachriel 18:58, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
