Resurrection of the Hoblin King

Resurrection of the Hoblin King is a Party Quest that is available to players above level 80. It requires 3 or more players to participate in this quest. The quest involves Shammos resurrecting Rex under the pretext of checking if the seal that binds Rex is intact. This quest has six parts in it, and upon completion of the party quest (Even if you defeated Rex or not- see below), you will be awarded 89 000 exp. This is arguably one of the best way to train past level 80, as Rex gives 330 000 exp when defeated. There is currently a glitch in the PQ that allows party members to take down Rex solo. More details will be provided below.

Location

The Party Quest can be activated by talking to Shammos, who is located at Shammos's Solitary Room The room is located at the bottom of the Chief's Residence (The place where explorers make their Third Job Advancement), or can be accessed from the Mirrors of Dimension located in every town.

Stage 1

Ice Ravine: Ice Ravine 1

• This is the first map which Shammos is escorted through. His speed is around 80%.

Ice Ravine: Ice Ravine 2

• The second map is slightly more complicated than the first.

Stage 3

Ice Ravine: Ice Ravine 3

• The third map is even more complicated than the second

Stage 4

Ice Ravine: Ice Ravine 4

• A complex map. However, a shortcut can be found in this map. To make Shammos avoid the ladder going downwards, simply climb onto the nearest ladder for the spawn point, and stay there until Shammos passes.

Ice Ravine: Ancient Ice Cave

• Rex, the boss, can be found in this map. Under normal circumstances, when a party leader enters this map, all of the party members will be automatically teleported into the map. Since Rex gives a large amount of exp (For players ranged level 80-90), people have found a way to solo Rex. Instead of creating a party, the leader just has to create an expedition. At the entrance of the Ancient Ice Cave, the expedition captain just has to split the expedition into three separate parties. This enables players to solo Rex.
