Quick meso
Info
Hi!!! Welcome to my guide to earn quick meso! If you like, you can edit this or add pictures, just add your name at the end of this guide. Make sure you don't put this on other sites other than Maplewiki. Thanks!
Meso- What is It?
For the begginers who dont't know what meso is, meso is the form of currency used in Maplestory, and takes the form of four different icons:
Bronze meso coin- 10-49 meso
Gold meso coin- 50-99 meso
Bundle of cash- 100-999 meso
Sack of Gold- 1000-50000 meso
BTW: You can't drop more than 50k(K=Thousand) meso at a time, and you can only trade 1mil meso a day if you are lvl 15 or under.
Looting
This is a classic way to get meso, but other players may consider you rude, so ask first before picking up their items. Popular looting areas are:
Henesys Hunting Ground I
Caution Falling Down
Purple Plains I(On the very top) [Beginners I suggest you stay WELL AWAY from purple plains if youre like lvl 20 under as you might die attempting to loot.]
Monsters to train on(and FAST cash)
Lvl 15-20, I recommend training at Henesys Pig Farm, and pick up EVERYTHING IT DROPS except monster cards and other useless items. Lvl 21-30, Kerning City PQ, though poor money, good items to sell on FM. Lvl 31-40 CLERICS, Nightmares, and other monsters that are weak against Holy attacks. Lvl 31-40, Sakura Cellions. They drop awesome equips and around 200-300 meso!!(Much more than what their relatives drop.) And leprechauns, they drop around 200-400 meso but are harder to attack if you're lower levels.
Tips
Do not buy the exact potion you need. Buy the potion one level below your perfect potion, unless you are EXTREMLY tired of constantly jabbing at the potion button. Lower leveled characters absolutly do NOT by food, unless you get it as a reward. Here are some quests:
-Complete The man with an arrow and a bow's quest, first you must collect 50 carrots, 20 apples, and 20 oranges. Then deliver the food to the houses with circles on the door, then donate 10000 meso. It may seem a lot, but you get 100 white potions and mana elixirs. When you buy whit potions, if you buy 100 of them, it costs 32000. 100 mana elixirs cost 62000. Pretty worth it heh?
- complete the defeat the 99, 999 etc. Green mushroom, horny mushroom, zombie mushroom, evil eye quests. They are great for white potions and mana elixirs , just that every time you repeat the quest, another 9 gets added to the overall total you need to kill, say 99 was your previous number you needed, the next time you do the quest you'll have to kill 999 the next time.
Simple things like depositing 1000 meso every time you play without withdrawing can stack up to BIG numbers. Save money by walking instead of taking the taxi. Buy town scrolls - they can save you up to 600 meso. [ complete shumi's lost coin quest for 30 random town scroll and 3 fame]
Never ever EVER withdraw money to buy potions, only if you're desparate. Because most players fall under two catergories, those who have absolutely have no potions and are continuously chilling out on chairs or hanging on ropes, or those who have enough potions to feed a balrog for like FOREVER. Be meso-wise and buy a small amount of potions or enough to supply you for your trip.
As mentioned above, ^^^^ where you deposit 1000 meso at a time, and you realize that you have little or HEAPS of meso left, well don't deposit more than you can afford. Because this happening, can lead to you withdrawing MORE than you intentionally wanted, and soon you'll be back to broke.
