MapleStory(Archer At Heart)

As time begins

Long ago in the heavenly land of Eden there was war. The gods were fighting for control of the world below them. Zazkar was the ancient god of Darkness and Evil. He had been cast out of Eden because he had betrayed them all in the Battle for the River Michael. That river contained the knowladge that would allow Maplekind to gain the ability to disobey the gods. The Maplers were stronger than most believed and it was them who kept the rightful gods in power. Faith was used as the energy that keep Eden safe from harm, but Zazkar had other plans.

Zazkar decended to MapleEarth and began to enslave the Maplers. He used his power to turn gentle creatures and plants into visicous monsters. The snails that so many people kept as pets grew teeth and began to lash out. The recent mutation of the creatures caused all of the boats to shut down in an attempt to keep people safe. Unfortunatly this did not always work out for the better.

The boats from Maple Island to Victoria Island shut down leaving the newborn trapped in a world where snails could eat them at any moment. The mushrooms that were their main food supply turned into large, fast creatures. Although they could only hop the were trampling the Maplers. More and more Maplers died until the first potion shops opened up. They selled powerful potions that would allow Maplers to survive until the boats became operational. The problem was, Victoria Island and Ossyria did not know how to handle the situations as the boats were the only form of communication.

Victoria Island

On Victoria Island the death toll increased. No one had ever seen this happen in their lifetimes. Leaders had to decided what to do before MapleEarth was wiped out. "The monsters must be killed! Why can no one see that?" exclaimed the Chief of Acperion. "Because the more of these are killed the more they respawn in. One mushroom will turn into two more mushrooms and so on." Replied the wise Chief of Sellina. She was one of the few people with the ability to view the future. But all she could see in the future were troubled times.

"We must find out who is causing this to happen. Why would the gods inflict this upon us?" Ask the Chief of Acperion. The Chief of Sellina replied, "It is not the will of the gods. It is the will of Zazkar. He wishes to use us to drive the gods out of Eden. Once he does that he can take control."

"Zazkar is the one causing all of this? How could he turn these creatures into monsters?" Asked the Chief of Genkerning. "It is the power of the gods to control all life. He is mutating gentle creatures in an attempt to crush us. We must not succome to his power."

The Chief of Sellina had begun to have another vision. "Four Chosen ones will be chosen by the gods with the River Michael. They shall be filled with the knowledge to destroy Zazkar and bring peace back to MapleEarth. The River Michael will decend upon MapleEarth giving us all a little more power."
