1. Talk to Jack at the Cavern of Pain, you will obtain two items: Coded Communique and Map of Phantom Forest.
2. Talk to John Barricade at the Lobby.

Procedure

1. Talk to Lita Lawless in New Leaf City - Town Center. She will recommend you talk to The Glimmer Man.
2. Talk to The Glimmer Man in New Leaf City - Town Center. He will recommend you talk to Elpam Gorlab.
3. Talk to Elpam Gorlab in New Leaf City - Town Center, you will obtain an item: Translated Communique.
4. Show John Barricade the translated text.
