The pros and cons about magician

Pros: -Alot of mp starting from level 21 -Ranged attacks -Does not have knock backs like thiefs and bowmans -Needs less mp pots because of the fast mp regeneration -Able to steal monster's mp at 2nd job -Able to do mob skills at 2nd job -More monsters 'are weaker to magic/'have less maic armor -One of the easiest jobs to level

Cons: -Needs to spend alot of mesos on hp pots(except clerics) -Hard to fin a good staff or wand for a level 70+ magician -Less hp -Usually hard to meet another magician at your level to train with(because of the one of the easiest jobs to train thingy) 

Why choose a magician?

Magician can kill monsters that even higer level maplers cant kill. Magicians trainings are the easiest because for the 1st training, they need to kill only 8 slimes. 2nd training 20 slimes and 3rd training 35 slimes. Good mobs.

Which path of 2nd job for magician is good? Acutally, all is good. It depends on how you use the 2nd job attacks and whether you like that job or not. I will start with what i think and the I will tell the the pros and cons of that path.

I think actually, Wizard F/P goes first, Cleric goes second and followed by Wizard I/L.

Wizard F/P(Fire Poison) Pros Rarest path Highest magic attack (Fire arrow) Can take up monster's hp bit by bit by using only 1 spell. Most accepted 2nd job to join a party Usually not hated because of the less ksing 4th job's mob is the best because you will level up effortlessly by using the 'meteor'

Cons No mob skills till 3rd job Poison attack does litte attack

Clerics Pros Can heal Has mob Can jump attack Usualy taken in by other pts because of heal Fast level up because of heal Healing your pt members causes you to earn a little exp Cons Low magic attack(holy arrow) Lowest damage in the 2nd job path

Wizard I/L(ice lightenig) Pros Good mob Can freeze people One of the most common jobs Cons Does not have much damage Nothing to use to help leveling up easier
