On the night of the Perseid meteor shower, Spiruna’s assistant woke up abruptly from a nightmare and hurriedly ran to look for her Master, Spiruna who was still soundly asleep.

“Master! Master! Hurry wake up! I need to tell you something! Please please listen to me!” Spiruna’s assistant shrieked.

Spiruna look at her assistant and said “ahhh let me catch some sleep, I have not been having much rest ever since the unite of Delphinus and Eridanus”

“But, but, but, I just dreamt of the meeting of another two constellations!!” replied Spiruna’s Assistant.

Spiruna jumped from her bed and said “WHAT?” and hurried to her orb and started chanting.

After some time, Spiruna looked up from her crystal clear orb and said to her assistant “Yes, it is time for Fornax and Gemini to collide according to your prediction.”

Asiasoft would like to provide you with some of the Frequently Asked Questions.

Question: What is your reason for doing this world merge? Answer: This is to balance the population to enhance the gameplay on low population has affected majority of the players in both Fornax and Gemini world.

Question: What will happen to my character? Answer: Characters are retained. The current world selection page will still show Fornax and Gemini in the world selection page. If you choose Fornax, only your existing Fornax world characters will be displayed. This applies vice versa for Gemini world.

Question: What will happen to my items? Answer: Please rest assured that items will not be removed.

Question: Are my Cash items transferable after the world merge? Answer: No, Cash items can only be shared between characters in the same world under the same Maple account.

Question: Will there be any changes in the guild system? Answer: No, but if the guilds share the same names in both worlds, they will be re-named and given a temporary name. For example, if guild “MSEA” is found in both Fornax and Gemini worlds, it will be renamed to MSEA_F and MSEA_G.

Question: If my guild name in Fornax shares the same guild name in Gemini, how can I re-name it? Answer: Please advise the guild leader to send an email to [email protected] with the subject title: “Changing of guild name”. In the email, do include the following information: 1. Guild name 2. Guild leader IGN 3. New Guild name

Please note that the name change request can only be performed once and it cannot be revised or change once the process is completed. The guild names will be changed during the weekly regular server checks.

Question: What will happen to my rank position? Answer: The ranking lists for both worlds will be merged into one. Currently, the ranking system is still undergoing a revamp to introduce the new ranking list for Fornax and Gemini.

Question: How can I remain training in popular monster fields if the map is flooded with Maplers from the other world? Answer: More channels will be added in both Fornax & Gemini worlds after the merger and in order to increase more training grounds while easing the problem of kill-stealing, MapleSEA has been implementing mini dungeons of various level ranges since version 0.63. We will continue to add more dungeons in the future. At the same time, we will shorten the spawn rate of some mini-bosses so that everyone can have a chance to defeat it.

Common Questions

Q: I am currently playing in Aquila; can I also play in Fornax world with the same Maple account? A: Yes, if you are playing in Aquila, Bootes, Cassiopeia, Delphinus and Eridanus, you will still be able to create new characters within the same account to play in Fornax world.

Q: Is there a difference between Singapore Gateway and Malaysia Gateway? A: Fornax world, located in the Malaysia Gateway, is a new world that is catered to the Malaysia.

Q: I am living in Singapore, will I be able to play in Fornax world? A: Yes, anyone that is living in Singapore will be able to play in Fornax world.

Q: I have already charged A-Cash into my account and I am currently playing in Eridanus world, will I be able to use the A-Cash if I am going to play in Fornax world? A: Yes, A- Cash that you have charged will be available in all the worlds that you are playing in regardless of Singapore or Malaysia Gateway. However, Maple points will not be available to be shared between the 2 different Gateways.

Q: Will I be able to create a similar In Game Nick (IGN) that I have in Bootes if I start a new character in Fornax world? A: In the Singapore Gateway, the IGN is unique. So when you play in Fornax world, which is a different Gateway, it is possible for you to create another similar IGN that you have in the Singapore Gateway.
