Introduction
Maplestory is a MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role playing game) that i got easily addicted to. It is a 2D side-scrolling game where you find friends and kill monsters. If you get stronger you can get new skills/equipment/quests/jobs. I mostly play the game because i have good friends there and i wanna get better equipment to look better. Im level 50 in the game and i have a long way to go but i know quite alot about the game.(Edited on 05/10/2010 by lorddragon95, who has a lvl 55 dex fighter and a lvl 61 dexless fighter)

The basics to warrior
First of all if you want to be a warrior you have to make sure you even want to be a warrior:
Pros:
- If you want power in single hits then you choose this class
- Warriors have high HP and Defense so they don't die easily
- It is the only meelee job in the game, other than Brawlers(considering that aran is included in warriors). In my opinion warriors can move more than the other classes due to walking near enemy and hitting it. Thats what makes warriors interesting that you have more ways to attack
- They don't spend much money on MP potions
Cons:
- Warriors spend alot on HP potions
- We are indeed slower than the other classes
- We get ks-ed (kill steal) alot due to our slowness
- Even when the skill power strike can hit fairly enough other classes get better damage than us
- Even with High/Average Dex we have accuracy problems
Introduction
I consider you are already lvl 30! Congratulations! Anyway, if you aren't 30 yet, here there is a short summary of training areas 1-20:Maple Island quests, Job quests till getting Andras Hat, Henesys PQ 21-25: Kerning PQ 25-30: Subway (PQ, anyways solo is better)
Fighter Cons and Pros: Pros:
- Rage(Uber party skill, only not useful to mages)
- Powerguard (Reflects lots of touch damage)
- In 3rd job you will get Coma and Panic (uber attacking skills)
- In 4th you get Brandish!
- Best HP at all without wash nor Hyper Body
Cons:
- Lowest MP in game without wash nor Hyper Body (needs to be confirmed)
- HP pot burn before getting a good level of Power Guard
- No AoE effect till Shout
Skill build 30-36: 19 Mastery 37: 1 Mastery(MAX) 2 Rage (some people consider that Mastery should be left at 19 till later levels (I disagree) 38-43: 18 Rage (MAX) 44-48: Save 15 SP (Since Power Guard isnt good at earlier levels and you will waste money) 49-53: 30 Powerguard (MAX)(BTW, dont be a noob and assign the 15 points at level 49, add them at 48) 54-59: Save 18 SP (Same reccomendation as case up, just switch PG with Final Attack, only diff is that FA wastes time, not mesos) 60-63: 30 FA (MAX)(same reccomendation) 64-69: 18 Booster 70: 2 Booster (MAX) and 1 SP extra (put it anywhere, I would reccomend to use it in Increase HP Recovery, or Iron Body(whichever you put in the 6 extra poinst in 1st job))
