EagleSlash's Spear Dk Guide
This is a Guide for warriors who want to be a Spear Dk(Dragon Knight). A Spear Dk is someone that only uses spears and not polearms.This build is efficent for the unfunded and the funded as it saves mp pots and time.In this build i will include Final Attack(termed FA) as it is the money and time saver.Also, Hybrids are Dks that use both PoleArms and Spears.I choose to be a spear DK as Spears do more damage then Polearms.Hybirds are used as they want both the stableness of Polearms in the 2nd job and the power of Spears in the 3rd job.That build,sadly,does not include FA.
So if you read all that and want to be a Spear Dragon Knight, Read On!
Why Dragon Knight?Dragon Knights have the longest range and best mob skill of all the warrior classes.They might be slow but they are powerfull.Expect to level fast at level 1-30 even without Pqing.Dragon Knights slow down on leveling at level 30-70 but they speed up again at level 75.Expect the training to be boring but fun at the end
Starting stats Str-Any Dex-Any Int-4 Luk-4
Edit: Now Maplestory does not have a stat roll so every be happy! Perfect stats for everyone! =)
Why 4 Int and Luk?As a warrior you will not need luck as it does nothing to increase your attack power and int is for mages who use magic spells.Warriors on the other hand use physical prowless and strength to overpower and destroy their enemies.As i said before you do not need those 2 so you wont add any points into them.
You start out like this
Level 1 Beginner
4 Int
4 Luk
Any str and dex
Any clothes
Wooden club
Why wooden club?The wooden club has the highest attack points you can have as a starting weapon.So if you want to hit higher earlier bring on the clubs XD.
Ok now you train untill you are level 2.What do you add to?
1 to Nimble Feet(AP Distribution) 5 to Str(SP Distribution)
Do the same thing untill you are level 4! You add Str from now on untill 35 str and you stay at 35 str untill you reach level 10.All the other points go to your dex. Now you add 1 to Snail Throw and the rest to Hp recovery.
Training Spot-Level 1 - 10 (Do as much quests as you can as they give extra Exp)
Level 1-4 Green snails(First map) Level 4-7 Red snails Level 7-9 (75%ish) Orange Mushrooms.
Stay at maple island as you will not be KSed(kill steal) much there.Then at level 9 you go to see olaf.you should be at 900 exp and at about 70-80%.Answer his questions and you will get 65 Exp.Then talk to him again and he will tell you about the Path of the Warrior,Bowman,Thief and Mage Click on Path of the Warrior and he will give you a quest.Now go to perion and talk to Dances with Barlog located in a building at the top right hand corner of the map and inquire abotu the path of the warrior.You will gain 300 exp and level up.Then talk to Dances with Barlog again and you wil become a Warrior.

Why Iron Body?Well 6 hp will matter at low levels and it is much better to have 6 damage off the damage the enemy hits you.Well i said recommended so you can add to whatever you wish.
2nd Job Advancement Ok.Now go to Dances with Barlog again and he will say something about you being stronger.Then you get the letter from him and present it to the wariror instuctor.And bla bla.You prolly will know what to do.
Skill Point Distribution By level 70 you should have 75-dex The rest of the points to Str Edit: For the people who want to go low dex.It doesent really matter. Depends on how rich you are. Just keep it in the 60-80 dex zone. Any higher or lower is a waste.

Training Spots
- = Most Exp
Level 30-35-Ant Tunnel,CPQ (Might not get into parties but you can Trade Wins)
Level 35-40-CPQ* (Carnival Party Quest)
Level 40-50-CPQ*.Or you can train at Block Golems at eos tower 8th floor.In the Hidden Street.
Level 50-70-Ludi Maze PQ* or Orbis PQ - Dont need skills as there is not much fighting.Mostly Skill and people want your HB for boss so if you boss just run around spamming pots and hb.
Level 70-80- This is the hard bit. You wana use those cool dk skills but its not powerfull enough yet. Gryphons, Windraiders* or even hodoo/vodoo.
Level 80-90-Wolf Spiders*(HUGE pot burn if you are soloing),Death Teddys,Master Death Teddys
Level 85-120+- Himes******* = Godly Exp. You need a zakum helmet for this to hit properly. Try to use scrolled sky skis or godly maple soul spear.
