~~Creating the Guide~~

Myself

Hi, my name is DanTe and i play on Khaini. I created this tutorial because i think there are to less guides for luckless magicians. Also I wanted to make it easier for newbies to start. I'm a level 19 Magician so don't expect everything to be in the guide. If you got suggestions, write to me ;)

Creating the Character

NOTE: This guide contains a dice roll section for AP points. We would like to inform you that dice roll function is not used anymore in GMS and MapleSEA. If you are a beginner, there is no need as all points are assigned to STR. When you get your job advancement, click A and then click on auto-assign points. Please avoid that section and everytime you level up, press 'a' and press auto-assign. You may continue that system or if you are looking to use a special point build eg. dexless assassin, then you may do so.

When you're rolling the Dice, don't try to be fast, better watch the stats closely and don't roll the dice again as fast as you can!! I never did that and sometimes really had good stats but i thought : "Oh, there won't be some good stats, so I will roll again" I missed some 12s ;)

Normal Mage Stats:

  • STR: 4-5
  • DEX: 4-5
  • INT: ANY
  • LUK: ANY

Perfect Mage Stats:

  • STR: 4
  • DEX: 4
  • INT: ANY
  • LUK: ANY

Luckless Mage Stats:

  • STR: 4-5
  • DEX: 4-5
  • INT: 10-13
  • LUK: 4-5

Perfect Luckless Mage Stats:

  • STR: 4
  • DEX: 4
  • INT: 13
  • LUK: 4

Note: It might take a VERY long time till you get the perfect stats. But its worth it. Trust me ;)

Tip: To get a prefect luckless mage in few minutes. requirements: lazy & darn rich JUST ROLL ANY STAT AND USE A-CASH 6K TO RESET ALL THE ADDITIONAL AP POINTS TO INT XD (Thanks for Kenson, I got this from his guide)
