Bot

Description

A bot, botter; botting, is a program (usually associated to Hacking) which "autobots" a person's character for them. An example would be, a person would use what we call a cheat engine, whilst also having the bot engine loaded. They would then load MapleStory, go to a specific spot, and activate the bot engine/botter. You will know if someone if hacking because they will probably not respond to any of your actions.

What to do

If you find a botter/hacker, the best option would be to report them. (Right-click user, select report option.) Also, you could take a screenshot of the character (botting), and send it with an explanation to Nexon.
