Introduction
Many players at around level 40 may begin to get bored of the game, possibly because of slow training or other reasons. The Ludibrium Party Quest is a quest for those willing to take a challenge, and work with 5 other party members through 10 complex stages. Completing this quest requires teamwork, patience, and skill. This party quest is the second of the two currently available, with the first (and easier) one being the Kerning City Party Quest.

Before beginning this party quest, be sure to read through this list of requirements:

* You must have 6 party members to begin this quest. These players must all be in the level range of levels 35-50. Players level 40+ are preferred.
* You must have at least 3 party members to begin this quest. These players must all be 30 and above.
* One member of the party must be a Magician (any type), with at least Level 1 Teleport (Cleric preferred).
* Also, cure potions such as Eyedrops and Holy Water are recommended while fighting Alishar. All Cure Potions are most convenient because they cure all states.
* One of these party members must be an Assassin with Dark Sight, and maxed range on their throwing stars.
* The rest of the slots are open to whatever class you choose. Bowmen higher than level 40 are useful, as are Warriors over level 45.
* All members of the party must make sure they have considerable amounts of HP and MP potions, to prevent them from dying during the quest.
* It is highly recommended to have a Cleric in your party, to heal you while fighting the boss. Having one in your party will save you many HP potions. However, it may even be wise to have 2 clerics in your party, for they may be prone to dying (especially lower leveled clerics)
* Also, cure potions such as Eyedrops and Holy Water are recommended while fighting Alishar (the PQ boss). All Cure Potions are most convienient, for they cure all states.

If your party meets all of these requirements, you are ready to begin to PQ! To enter the party quest, you must first head to the 101st floor of the Eos Tower. Then, get the leader to click on the Red Sign to begin the party quest (assuming no party is already in it).

To get into a party, you should ask to join the PQ (Usually by saying J>PQ and your class/level) to grab people's attention in Channel 1 at 101st floor of Eos Tower.

If you're trying to get into a party, put on your best equipment and channel surf! In each channel you visit, advertise your availability. Don't stay too long in each channel. Keep in mind that you'll have a much easier time getting in during weekdays (Monday - Thursday), during the early afternoon and late at night, EST. Also you will have a much easier time if you play in a server other than Scania or Bera. Once in a party, ask for your party's track. If they don't have one and you're not prepared to wait a long while, do not hesitate to leave and search for another party. If they do have a track, check it.
There is always the possibility of missing. Missing is when another party clicks faster and gets in before you get a chance to enter PQ. When your party misses, you should automatically try another channel. Leaders usually channel surf and change channels after trying once so it is reccomended to keep up with your leader.

Once the party that your party is tracking reaches Stage 7, you should start to check your track repeatedly. Stage 8 will probably take the party a long while for them to finish, but once they get into A Crack on the Wall (the boss stage), your leader needs to start clicking the stop-sign. Only a few seconds after they leave the boss stage, the PQ will open!

Finally! You're in the Ludibrium PQ! You thought that the worst was over, right? Well, not really. Unlike the Kerning City Party Quest, the Ludibrium PQ is extremely difficult, and will require a lot of precision to complete, even when inside. This is how to complete the Party Quest.

Move up and down the area, killing the black ratz. They've got a little more HP than usual. Each kill will net you one coupon. Give them to your leader, then have him talk to the red balloons NPC to open the portal to the next stage. Have two or three of your party members go through the portal. The rest should wait by the exit of Stage One.

Their EXP and Level will depend will be based on the average level of your party. Each kill will net you one coupon however this does not take inventory space. Once all 20 passes are picked up, the stage clears and the portal is opened. Everyone goes automatically into Stage 2 once one member goes through the portal. There will be yellow writing on top saying how many passes have been picked up.

Stage Two
The party members who went through the portal should go down to the second box. When they hit it, all the members you sent into Stage Two will be moved to the Tower's Trap. Basically it's just a mini-stage to do, but since you've got 3 or 4 other party members waiting to come through, you can do Stage Two and Tower's Trap simultaneously. This saves a lot of time. Once the 2 or 3 have been taken to the Trap, the other members should go through the portal and beat Stage Two as usual. Both groups need to hit all the blue boxes they come across. Each box that was hit will drop a coupon. You may need a Magician in the trap to teleport over to a difficult-to-reach box. When both groups are done, give all 15 tickets to the leader and have him talk to the orange balloons NPC. Everyone should now proceed through the portal.
This stage has 5 portals. Each portal has two kinds of monsters: Shadow Eye from Another Dimension and Dark Eye from Another Dimension. They portals all arranged vertically with 3 monsters in each portal and the last portal only having 2 monsters. This makes a total of 14 monsters. The monsters level and EXP depend on the average level number of all the party members. All monsters need to be killed to clear the stage. Once the stage is cleared, a portal appears and once one member goes through the portal, all party members gets transported to the next stage. If there are less than 5 people in the quest (assign everyone one room), to find out which rooms have been cleared, there is a message on top saying if the room has monsters or not. Also, when you go back into the main room after going through the portal, a message on top will say how many monsters are left to be cleared.

Stage Three
Stage Three
Now, have all party members begin to smash the boxes. Most boxes in this stage will spawn Bloctopus. Each Blocktopus will drop a single coupon upon being killed. Your party should split up. Half can go down and smash the boxes as they go. The Bloctopus will fall down to the bottom area, where you can easily mob attack them. The other half should go up and kill all of the
The Third Stage is fairly simple. There are rows of platforms, each with three numbered boxes; pressing up at the correct box will teleport you up to the next platform. Pressing up on the wrong box will force you to start all over again. The boxes that will lead to the next platform are all randomised. When you press up on the correct box, the box will receive some glowing animation and you will be moved through to the next platform. Once one person reaches the very top to the platform with the portal, all party members get transported to the very top too. Then once someone enters the portal into the next stage, everyone will automatically move to the Fourth Stage. (No idea why it does this though since everyone gets teleported into the top platform, then teleported again to the next stage)

Stage Four comprises of three main attacking platforms, the bottom, middle and top. Two Rombots from Another Dimension will spawn on the bottom, 1 on the middle platform and 1 on the top platform. To pass this stage, all Rombots need to be killed. The Rombot's levels and EXP will be based on the average levels of all the party members. This time, all players must manually walk to the portal to go in to the next stage.

When you reach this stage, everyone should jump or fall down to the bottom of the area. Now, begin to work your way up. When you reach a portal (the bottom and top portals don't do anything), mark that you went in by dropping 10 mesos or an item near the portal. Then go in. Inside, it is completely dark, with one or more monsters inside. The monsters are black so you cannot see them. Every once

in a while, they will open their eyes. These monsters can only be damaged if their eyes are open. Once you're done, leave through one of the portals in your room. If there are any more unmarked portals, do one of those rooms, otherwise go up to the balloons and wait for the rest of your party. Drop your coupons. The leader should click the lime-green balloons NPC to open the portal. Continue through.

Stage Five
This stage consists of 9 boxes all numbered 1-9. The leader will click on the balloons (all party members must be present in the room) and an equation will pop up on top. The equation needs to be solved and the numbers represent the boxes that need to be stood on. For example, an equation of 20*20+15= 20 multiplied by 20 then add 15, which equals 415. Then the party members just stand on boxes 4, 1 and 5. When the party leader clicks on the Blue Balloon again, the stage is cleared. The portal will open and once one member goes in, all members will be transported to the last stage. If there are only two members left, or a party member is AFK, anyone can simply talk to the Sgt. Anderson and obtain a platform puppet. The platform puppet can take the place of a party member.

A Crack On The Wall/Boss Stage
This is the sixth and final stage. This is the stage where members must face Alishar. The HP, EXP, and Level of Alishar will be based on the average level of all the party members.

Tips and Strategies
The Thief with Dark Sight should activate it and go down through the Golems. There are several portals. The Bandit or Assassin will need to go through each one and collect the passes in each room. Beware! Some rooms may contain more Golems, which dish out 8000+ damage per hit. The rest of the party, go up. Again, mark the portals you go into. Two members should go through each portal. In every room, climb up and jump off the side of the rope onto the chests on the side of the room. The Magician with teleport needs to take the top portal. Have him/her teleport (or Haste jump) up into the portal. In their room, they need to teleport directly down into their stage. Once everyone's done, they should drop their passes to their leader, and pass through the portal that opens.
* Your Cleric should Heal if members need so, however Alishar has been significantly nerfed in newer updates.
* It is reccomended that magicians use Magic Guard to reduce damage.
* Alishar can jump and move to the very edge of both sides of the stage, so unless your party is quick at killing him, you might find your party hemmed in on one edge. Mages can try and teleport to the other side, but everyone else will have to walk past it.
* Alishar will put status condition on you. The status condition can either lock up all your skills or blind you to drastically lower your accuracy. You should use Holy Water for the lock or Eyedrops for the blindness. Alternatively, you can use All Cure Potions which will cure you of both the Lock and blindness. Waiting for the curse to wear off is not an option, due to the nature of the battle. If you did not bring any cure potions and get cursed, you will just have to stay out of battle.
* Mages need not use Eyedrops, because they will not be affected by lower accuracy.
* After losing about 1/3 of his health, he will begin to summon Chronos. After lowering his health further, Alishar will start summoning Platoon Chronos in addition to Chronos. Alishar will begin to summon Master Chronos as well when he has about only 1/3 of his HP left.
* The Chronoses should be handled by the players who cannot hit Alishar or by a Cleric using heal.
* Be prepared to use your own HP-restoring items if necessary, as the party can get spread out and/or separated with Alishar in between them.  If either of those situations occur, you may be without the help of your Cleric.

Stage Six
Total Experience
Once Alishar is defeated, everyone will be given EXP based on how many members there are, the average level of all members and the level of the other party members relative to you (i.e if you join a party with people over level 100 and you are level 30, you will receive less EXP). You will also receive some Willpower and Insight EXP.

The Sixth Stage is fairly simple, similar to the puzzle stages of the Kerning City PQ. At this point, someone in your party will probably announce the order to the newbies.
Determine to Adventure
This is not a stage, however to exit the party quest, you will need to talk to Artuto. He will let you leave the map.

The order is: 133, 221, 333, 123, 111
Reward
There is only one reward for this Party Quest, once you beat Alishar 35 times and finish the Party Quest, you can receive the item: Broken Glasses

Hit up while standing on the numbered barrels in that order. At the top is a portal.
Things to avoid doing while in PQ
* AFK-ing. This causes trouble, whether you are in the PQ or trying to get in. You will hold up your party if in PQ because no one can advance to the next stage without you (Assuming this is stage 5).
* Flaming. Try not to flame as it could escalate situations beyond what they are.
* Slacking. It is selfish to sit at the bottom of the map while all your party members kill the monsters, letting you leech from it. A PQ requires all the party members to work together.
* Disconnecting. Of course if you cannot get a better computer, try switching your graphical mode to the lowest possible. Note that this may cause confusion in Stage 6, when you cannot see the boxes clearly. Stay out of fights (except for the boss fight) as far as possible.

Stage Seven
Dealing with situations
Inevitably, during your PQ career, you will come across some nasty people. When that happens, do not panic, and follow the steps below.

Once in the next room, go down to the bottom of the stage. Someone in your party will be picked to kill Ratz. Every time they kill a Black Ratz, a Rombard miniboss will spawn in the bottom area. The Cleric should have no problem keeping you healed. After it takes a bit of damage it will summon Block Golems. Just kill them all and after every Rombard kill, amd tell the party member who is killing the Ratz to kill another one. Another Rombard will Spawn. Be careful! Multiple rombards can spawn if the Ratz-killer kills more than one at a time, making it difficult to beat this stage. After all of the coupons have been collected, give them to your leader and go through the portal which appears.
Dealing with a party member that is offline
Stage Eight
Occasionally, there will be a party member that disconnects or simply left the party for no reason. There is no problem with this. Just simply continue with the Party Quest. When you get to Stage 5, be sure to see the Platform Puppet. Don't kick the person straight away, just in case they log back on.

Yet another puzzle stage. It is very similar to the Kerning City PQ puzzle, but with nine boxes. This can get tedious. The #1 and #2 are boxes should always be covered, although they're usually relinquished to the party newbie if they're too slow.
Dealing with a party member that is afk
This is an example of the order, if you don't remember: 12345, 12346, 12347, 12348, 12349, 12356, 12357, 12358, 12359, 12367, 12368...
Occasionally, there will be a party member that does not respond, because he is not at the keyboard. Of course you should wait for them, but when it is apparent that they will not be there for a long time (Assuming this is stage 5) then just leave the Party Quest (with the leader) and invite someone new to the party quickly to go back in.

Continue until you get the right combination. It can become confusing after 1 and 2 start moving, but you shouldn't have much trouble.
Dealing with a party member that is rude
A Crack On The Wall - Killing The Alishar (Boss)
Occasionally, there will be a party member that is rude toward you. Please know that this is like the real world where you might hate your peers but you must ignore them. Simply remember the rule of "don't feed the troll," which simply means don't talk to him or her. If you do not desire that person in the party, ask the leader to expel the person once outside (Party leaders can not expel while in the PQ).<br>

Have your Bowman or Assassin kill the Ratz on the platform so the passes drop directly onto the treasure chest. An Alishar is summoned! Your Cleric should start spamming Heal and not stop until the end of the battle. This is because that you will not be able to take even 2 or 3 hits from the boss. Use skills to pour tons of damage on him; his health will get down in no time. After losing a bit of his health, he'll will begin to summon Chronos, which are a nuisance. Kill them as quickly as you can so you can get back to killing the Alishar. If you're good, you can get him to the next summon-level before he summons more Chronos. The next monsters that are summoned are Platoon Chronos. These are larger and take more damage before they go down, but your party should be able to hold its own.
Party Quest Terminology
About this time, if too many of your party members have died, your party may struggle. Alishar will constantly Seal you or Blind you, making it impossible to mob the Chronos or hit the Alishar. You will eventually make it to his last "stage" of summoning. The Alishar will begin to summon Master Chronos, which is quite annoying if you are fighting the battle on your own, or with only one other person. It's nearly impossible to get a hit on Alishar unless you're a Warrior. Eventually, the Alishar will go down. Let the leader pick up the keys he drops. You will now proceed to the Bonus Stage.
Party quests has terminology which many be confusing to first time party questers. The following are used commonly in the Ludibrium Party quest.

Bonus Stage
* Pass - The ETC item that allows the leader to clear the stage, which opens the portal to the next one. The first stage only has this.
* Miss - The leader fails to get the party into the party quest and another party enters the party quest.
* CC - Change Channel. Used when a party leader is going in between channels and telling party members where to go
* Out - The current party inside the party quest is now out of the Party Quest, enabling another party to get in.
* LDR - This means Leader
* PL- This means Party Leader

Upon entering, you have one minute to collect as much loot as you can. Hitting a box opens a cascade of Mesos and items. It is recommended that you not bother with them unless you see a cape, earrings, or Dew (sells for a few thousand Mesos at an NPC). After a minute, your party will automatically be ejected into the conclusion stage.

*All monsters will have the same level as the average level of all the party members. Their EXP and HP is adjusted accordingly. The total EXP for finishing this Party Quest is also based on your level, the levels of other party members and how many party members there are.
*Once you complete this 35 times you get an item called Broken Glasses which has a high market value after using Scissors of Karma.

Go up the ladder and talk to Arturo to recieve your prize. You will be sent to Eos Tower: 101st Floor. Some prizes include Summon Bags, Elixers, Ores, Screws, and Scrolls. This PQ should have netted you 40000-45000 Experience.

The Ludibrium Party Quest is available to players that are above Level 110. It is a good method of leveling through the 100's and therefore should be done daily for EXP Maximization. It is a challenge which requires a lot of patience and teamwork. It is comprised of 6 stages, some more difficult than others and simpler. This Party Quest can be done with 3 - 6 people.

Party Requirements

Before beginning this party quest, be sure to read through this list of requirements:

 • You must have at least 3 party members to begin this quest. These players must all be 30 and above.
 • Also, cure potions such as Eyedrops and Holy Water are recommended while fighting Alishar. All Cure Potions are most convenient because they cure all states.

If your party meets all of these requirements, you are ready to begin to PQ! To enter the party quest, you must first head to the 101st floor of the Eos Tower or use the Mirror of Dimension. Then, get the leader to click on the Red Sign to begin the party quest. That is, if no other party is in it.

Finding A Party & Getting In

Track at Boss Stage

To get into a party, you should ask to join the PQ (Usually by saying J>PQ and your class/level) to grab people's attention in Channel 1 at 101st floor of Eos Tower.

There is always the possibility of missing. Missing is when another party clicks faster and gets in before you get a chance to enter PQ. When your party misses, you should automatically try another channel. Leaders usually channel surf and change channels after trying once so it is reccomended to keep up with your leader.

The Quest Process

Finally! You're in the Ludibrium PQ! Unlike the Kerning City Party Quest, the Ludibrium PQ is a bit more difficult and complex, and will require a lot of precision to complete, even when inside. This is how to complete the Party Quest. You have 20 minutes to complete this quest. There is a box called 'Achievment Ratio' on top which says how far you are in the quest.

Stage One

Starting the Party Quest

You have collected x Passes

Move up and down the area, killing the Ratz and Dirty Ratz.

Passes required: 20

Stage Two

1 Dark Eye left! 'There are no monsters in this room'.

Stage Three

The glowing animation on the boxes

Stage Four

Party Members attacking a Rombot.

Stage Five

The equation to solve.

Two Platform Puppets.

Fighting Alishar

This is the sixth and final stage. This is the stage where members must face Alishar. The HP, EXP, and Level of Alishar will be based on the average level of all the party members.

Tips and Strategies

 • Your Cleric should Heal if members need so, however Alishar has been significantly nerfed in newer updates.
 • It is reccomended that magicians use Magic Guard to reduce damage.

This is not a stage, however to exit the party quest, you will need to talk to Artuto. He will let you leave the map.

Reward

There is only one reward for this Party Quest, once you beat Alishar 35 times and finish the Party Quest, you can receive the item: Broken Glasses

Things to avoid doing while in PQ

 • AFK-ing. This causes trouble, whether you are in the PQ or trying to get in. You will hold up your party if in PQ because no one can advance to the next stage without you (Assuming this is stage 5).
 • Flaming. Try not to flame as it could escalate situations beyond what they are.

Dealing with situations

Inevitably, during your PQ career, you will come across some nasty people. When that happens, do not panic, and follow the steps below.

Dealing with a party member that is offline

Occasionally, there will be a party member that disconnects or simply left the party for no reason. There is no problem with this. Just simply continue with the Party Quest. When you get to Stage 5, be sure to see the Platform Puppet. Don't kick the person straight away, just in case they log back on.

Dealing with a party member that is afk

Occasionally, there will be a party member that does not respond, because he is not at the keyboard. Of course you should wait for them, but when it is apparent that they will not be there for a long time (Assuming this is stage 5) then just leave the Party Quest (with the leader) and invite someone new to the party quickly to go back in.

Dealing with a party member that is rude

Occasionally, there will be a party member that is rude toward you. Please know that this is like the real world where you might hate your peers but you must ignore them. Simply remember the rule of "don't feed the troll," which simply means don't talk to him or her. If you do not desire that person in the party, ask the leader to expel the person once outside (Party leaders can not expel while in the PQ).

Party Quest Terminology

Party quests has terminology which many be confusing to first time party questers. The following are used commonly in the Ludibrium Party quest.

 • Pass - The ETC item that allows the leader to clear the stage, which opens the portal to the next one. The first stage only has this.
 • Miss - The leader fails to get the party into the party quest and another party enters the party quest.
 • CC - Change Channel. Used when a party leader is going in between channels and telling party members where to go
 • Out - The current party inside the party quest is now out of the Party Quest, enabling another party to get in.
 • LDR - This means Leader
 • PL- This means Party Leader
