A party is formed so that a group of players can fight a monster that they wouldn't be able to defeat alone. They may also be formed to complete Party Quests. Some other [[Quests]] can be completed with the aid of a party, such as those that require the player to defeat a certain enemy a certain number of times. Also, some support skills such as [[Haste]], [[Heal]], and [[Bless]] can be used on others instead of just the caster, if the caster is in a party.

P.S. It is entirely possible I am wrong.
