Control

Here are the basic controls for playing Maplestory.

Control(Ctrl)is to attack. Alt is to jump. Z is to pick up items. Left and Right arrow keys to move. Up and Down arrow keys to climb up or down a ladder or rope.

There are also some shortcuts to use things in your menu, such as pressing "I" to look at your inventory. The button "H" allows you to whisper to other characters. The button "W" allows you to look at the world map. The button "E" allows you to look at your current equipment. The button "R" allows you to view and edit your buddy list The button "S" allows you to view/change your current skills. (e.g. Strg, Dex, Luk, Intl) The button "K" allows you to view/change your special skills (e.g., Slash Blast, Magic Guard, Eye of Amazon, Dark Sight) The button "P" allows you view/change your party. The button "G" allows you to view/change your guild. The button "Q" allows you to view quests that are availbe, in progress, or already completed. The button "C" allows you to invite two characters or less into a private chatroom.
