Chief Tatamo
Description
The chief of the tribe living in Leafre. Sells the Magic Seed for a price of 30,000 mesos each (price may vary, see the Magic Seed Purchasing note).

Donating to Leafre
Chief Tatamo will accept drops from most monsters between (but not including) Leafre and Entrance to Dragon Forest as donations to Leafre. He will accept items in any quantity you have, from 1 to as many as you can hold. If, for example, you have 352 of the same item and only 200 will fit in one slot, you can still donate all 352 at once, unlike potion purchasing which requires you to fill only one slot at a time. Chief Tatamo accepts the following items as donations:

- Pin Hov's Charm
- Hankie's Pan Flute
- Harp's Tail Feather
- Blood Harp's Crown
- Birk's Chewed Grass

- Kentaurus's Marrow
- Manon's Tail
- Griffey Horn
Magic Seed Purchasing
Chief Tatamo will also sell Magic Seeds to players. The actual price depends on your standing with Chief Tatamo, but defaults to 30,000 mesos per seed. You can buy any number of seeds between 1 and 100 at a time. If you wish to buy more than 100 seeds, you will be required to talk to Chief Tatamo again and make another purchase. See the next section, Befriending Chief Tatamo, for improving your standing with him.
Befriending Chief Tatamo

By donating large numbers of items to Leafre, players can get discounts on Magic Seed purchases. It is theorized that each item donated gives the player 1 point in standing with Chief Tatamo regardless of the item. So for example, donating 1 Rash's Furball will have the same affect as donating 1 Manon's Tail. This is, as of yet, unproven though.
It is also possible that points in your standing with Chief Tatamo are rewarded based on the value of your donation. This theory is also unproven, however.
A believed to be large number of Kentaurus Marrows was donated to Chief Tatamo in 50 item amounts as an experiment with the following results:

So in conclusion with the current data, Chief Tatamo will reduce the price of magic seeds by 3,000 mesos after donating 250 and 1,200 Blue Kentaurus Marrows and possibly after donating those numbers of other drops.
