I'm not familiar with the term "c8", but after searching for the term on [Urban Dictionary], I'm wondering if it could possibly refer to another mmorpg. I don't know if there's a rule against talking about competing games on Maple Story, but I wouldn't be surprised, as many of these games have such rules.
