This can be accessed by talking to Spigelemann at Kerning City, Ludibrium, or Orbis.
Edit from a player: Until you are at least level 35, it will be extremely hard to get into a cpq. Not only that, but you will have a hard time in the CPQ itself. I reccomend training at land of wild boars or ant tunnel until 35. Even at 35-40, it is still slightly difficult to get in. Only at 40+ will people readily invite you. If you have a high leveled friend or something to cpq with you, be my guest as the experience rates are excellent. (at least 7k per 10-minute cpq, 30k for the best win possible.) Also, there is the technique of win-trading in which two parties (usually split up from a party of 4-6) agree to let eachother win every other time. Most lower levels do this, as otherwise they stand no chance. This also guarantees a match as long as the parties are in a mostly isolated channel. The only problem with this is that the grades upon winning/losing are usually low, which decreases exp, but a high level on each team will fix this. Winning rakes in at least 20k, losing can go as low as 1k. It is recommended to have at least 3 people in each party.
Edit from a different player: At level 30, just Kerning PQ until you level up. From 31-34, do several quests or train at Wild Boars. By level 35 if you have some pretty good equipment you should be able to handle sakura cellions. Great experience if you can handle them. If you find that it takes more then three hits a few times, then you aren't ready, and do some other quests. A great quest to do is The Old Tree for level 35. Don't be discouraged by the low amount of experienced at the beginning, you get a huge amount at the very end and a few fames. Overall, I gained approximately 40% from this quest at level 35. However, I would try to avoid carnival PQing unless you're PQing with friends. The people that Carnival PQ have been, in my experience, rude and time wasters. The only way to get a really good amount of experience below level 40 is to trade wins, and people will often "steal wins" by winning a game, and not giving you the next win. Basically, just stick with training, and if it gets tedious, see if you can party with a friend or do quests.
Edit from just another player: It's recommended to watch your exp bar when lvl 30. If you do that, you shall be 10% more than others when entering 31. Check how much do you get after each PQ and when knowing, that next PQ will level you up, go train on monsters up to 98-99%
Now enter PQ for the last time, ask for soloing king slime and as a result, you'll quit your last party quest with 8-10k exp.
To compare - after killing Cursed Eyes for 50 tails bandit gets around 7% (and it takes half to hour)
Edit from yet another different player: On the other hand, you could get free leeches at CPQ if you know how to glitch overleveled players (51+). It may risk getting banned but I've seen tons of players glitching and getting glitched and none seemed to have gotten banned. If you are lucky, you may also party with some kind and strong players that are willing to solo the entire thing without you glitching. THE EXP THERE IS FAR GREATER THAN OTHER TRAINING. You can also buy CPQ services where you pay people to get you Rank A wins but it is quite expensive. If you would rather stick to training then I recommend visiting the newly opened Mushroom Castle through Henesys. Doing the chain of quests there rewards you with a huge load of EXP (not compared to CPQ, of course)but it can be quite tedious as they will be asking you to kill monsters and collect monster drops in huge numbers.

By now, you should be able to fight [[Sakura Cellion]]s. Still, only go to cellions if you are completely | Ludi PQ gives amazing rewards, and leveling is quite fast if you have a good party that cooperates. By now, you should be able to fight [[Sakura Cellion]]s. Still, only go to cellions if you are completely desperate for a change. They do drop alot of level 50 thief tops and bottom, and give 65 EXP, not to mention you can rack up a good 100k in about half an hour. For faster leveling go to the [[Monster Carnival PQ]].
Edit from a player: At this point you would probably have to make a choice. If you aren't lacking funds then be my guest and do CPQ. You would level there quickly and cheaply. On the other hand, if you are lacking slightly in funds, you could try Ludi PQ. 60% scroll for polearm ATT, anyone? You can also get a Napolean Cape and even Cracked Glasses, a reward attainable after doing Ludi PQ a sufficent number of times. It adds +1 to every stat so it might come in handy (though in my opinion it looks horrible). You would also get a whole lot of potions so that would cut your costs greatly. But be warned, Ludi PQ is pretty slow EXP since at least 5 people are needed. This means you can only spare 1 person who might D/C or leave the game in midst of the PQ. You might also lose the required Mage or Thief with Darkside/ Windbreaker with Wind Walk and have to quit the PQ.

As one of the two second job advancements for the Thief, the Bandit is one of the fastest, most dangerous jobs in the game. Of course, you start out weak, but you come out of it, bursting into your third job with huge amounts of damage and speed.
Second Job Introduction
This is where it gets fun! You've figured out the basics of the Thief, and you are now on your way of achieving what you've set out to do! The Bandit is a very fast, lethal character, so use your new powers to good! Bandits use a dagger as the main weapon. It enables them to strike quickly from up-close. Although the training may seem tough at times, later on you will realise that it was worth it.
And example of a Female Bandit: Firegirl5050 Bera
Job Advancement Procedure
Finally, level 30! Time to make the second job advancement! To make the second job advancement, go back to where you first got your job of Thief and talk to the Dark Lord. When you talk to him, click on 'I would like to know more about a thief' under the ETC section.(Most people think it is a quest and get stumped) Then he will give you a letter to take to his instructor.
Before you go anywhere, go outside the cafe and upstairs you should see a medicine shop. Buy 50-60 orange potions or 30-40 white potions.
Now go to your skills window,(by now you should have MAXED Double Stab) and click on the 'Macro' button. Then drag Double Stab 3 times to any picture of your choice. Now drag the picture (NOT DOUBLE STAB) to the 'end' button so you can press end and do double stab 3 times in a row!
The instructor is two maps east of Kerning City. Talk to him. He'll take you to the advancement area. The only way to get out is to change channel or die. The whole advancement area is full of Blue Mushrooms and Cold Eyes but dont worry, remember you have the super double stab (noob salvage blow XD)so it should really take 2 hits to kill 1. Get 30 dark marbles, return to the thief instructor and obtain the proof. Now, go back to The Dark Lord (Long lecture comes). Click on 'I want to chose my advancement' and choose Bandit and then confirm your choice. Congratulations! You are now a Bandit, and have just proceeded into your second job advancement!
Tips: 1. When you are level 25, go back to the Dark Lord and he should have a quest for you. It is a chain quest helping people all over Victoria Island. You end up back in Kerning City with 2 final quests. The last one should be the one where you kill VALEFOR. Valefor should be easy with 10 white potions and the 'Noob Salvage Blow'. Go back to the Dark Lord and you should get a cool helmet. It's Valefor's head and it has 60 MAGIC AND WEAPON DEFENCE!!!!!!! This would be GREAT for the Blue Mushrooms and the Cold Eyes.
2. Only use the Noob Salvage Blow when the monster is JUST about to attack you otherwise you will miss the last one.
Job Analysis
Being a Bandit means that you are on your way to becoming an expert with Daggers. The skills you acquire, the armor that you wear, the money that you have in your storage are all factors which determine the advantages and disadvantages of your chosen profession. In this case, it is the Bandit. Below, is a small list of general advantages and disadvantages in your ongoing career as a Bandit, with some ways of getting around some of the cons.
Pros
- Attack speed is fast.
- Great in close battle.
- Great party characters.
- Amazing damage at high levels.
- It is fun to play with steal.
- Steal can mob and has a stun rate.
- Tons of damage with meso explosion in 3rd job.
Cons
- Do not have ranged skills.
- A little hard to level up at lower levels.(With the new savage blow and quests lving is a little easier)
- Take a lot of damage.( Sometimes you would rather take the touch damage than the attack damage)
- Die a lot because they have to fight in close range and don't have very good weapon defense.
- Have trouble killing many bosses such as crimson balrog or papulatus at low levels.(alternative bosses, theres loads of them)
Stat Distribution
The stat distribution is the same as before, so there's no need to worry about this. Just keep your DEX at 2x your level, until level 40, then you can leave it as your level +40, and everything else goes into LUK!
- LUK: +5 for three levels
- DEX: +5 for two levels
Or
- LUK: +3 on each level
- DEX: +2 on each level

This build is suggested because steal would probably be better than endure. The savage blow build is just Steal build with Dagger Mastery and Savage Blow swapped a little. It is a big help for people who messed up their build when they were a thief, like me.
- Notes from a player: Whatever you do, it is recommended to put your first sp into Dagger Mastery, as one point for 15% extra mastery helps a lot, and is a pretty good deal.
Places To Train
Below are some recommended places where you should train, and monsters of which you should train off.
Level 30-40
Since the Monster carnival PQ is out now, you can do that for great exp, and, when you get 40 points, a Spigelemann necklace to sell.
Check how much do you get after each PQ and when knowing, that next PQ will level you up, go train on monsters up to 98-99% Now enter PQ for the last time, ask for soloing king slime and as a result, you'll quit your last party quest with 8-10k exp.
Level 40-50
Ludi PQ gives amazing rewards, and leveling is quite fast if you have a good party that cooperates. By now, you should be able to fight Sakura Cellions. Still, only go to cellions if you are completely desperate for a change. They do drop alot of level 50 thief tops and bottom, and give 65 EXP, not to mention you can rack up a good 100k in about half an hour. For faster leveling go to the Monster Carnival PQ.
Level 50-55
Luster Pixies or Zombie Lupins. Good drops and good EXP. Stone Gollems or Block Golems in Ludibrium would also be good. Another nice option would be the Jr. Yetis and Hectors around Icy Path II. Another option is going to Dangerous Cave (which is the path to Pianus that can be found in The Grave of a Wrecked Ship located in Aqua Dungeon) and training on Flyeyes. There's a quite good spawn, and some decent drops, as well as the exchange quest that can be completed. They give 95 exp opposed to Zombie Lupins 90, and have less HP, although the Bandit class will have to purchase more HP pots.
You can also party quest in Ludibrium maze. It goes for lvls 51-70. Or another place in near El Nath called Dead Mine. It has Flyeyes and Coolie Zombies.
Level 55-60
Zombie Lupins, Flyeyes, Luster Pixies, Jr. Yetis, and Hectors, possibly even White Pangs would be good at these levels as well. Crocos are also good, as there's a chance you can obtain your lv 60 top & bottom, and Crocos give the same exp as Hectors but have 800 less HP. You can also try Dark Stone Golems, which drop Tobis and Dark Identitys. Lorang and Clang are nice, but hold off on Torties until you're able to 2 hit kill them as they have some good drops (10% Glove ATK Scroll, anyone?) If you do decide to go to Hot Sand or Clang and Lorang, bring a party with you. Then let them share your rare stuff. You can also go in Monster Carnival 2 which gives nice xp
Level 60-70
Hoodoos or Voodoos are the best exp at these levels (335 per kill) You should be able to kill them in 3 hits. It will be hard to get a spot though because practically every other class trains there. But if you want to train on Coolie Zombies (not recommended), then go to El Nath and go two portals right. Or go Monster Carnival 2
