Talk to Pio in Amherst.
Collect 5 Old Wooden Boards and 5 Old Screws by hitting the scrap boxes in and around Amherst.
Return to Pio and give him the collected items.

There are seven boxes in the town of Amherst, two in the vacant house, one in the Snail Field of Flowers, and two in the weapon shop, two in The Field East of Amherst and there are several in the The Field West of Amherst. To make the collecting go faster, you may change channels to avoid the slow respawn rate of the boxes.
After you complete the quest, you may continue destroying boxes for Red and Orange Potions, Apples, and Mesos.
