In GMS and MS, to get married, one must complete a set of "quests".
New places (and therefor monsters, quests, NPCs and items as well) are often added to MSEA before other versions. Please refer to [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maplestory Wikipedia's article on MapleStory] to see a detailed content table of what is and isn't available to MSEA and other versions.

===Places===
There are places that are only available to MSEA/GMS. Some good examples are Zipangu and Wai-Tan(which is available in MSEA and other versions of MS) and Amoria (Available in TMS,GMS and MS). There are also worlds that both GMS and MSEA have but were released at different times. For example, Aqua Road was first released in MSEA, and Omega Sector was first released in GMS (Though now both versions have Aqua Road and Omega Sector).

===Monsters===
There are additional monsters in MSEA that aren't available to GMS. Some examples include Night Fox. This is due to the fact that these monsters spawn in places not available to GMS as well as the whole of Zipangu.Also in MSEA there is wai-tan which has lvl(level)20 poultry-based monsters.

MapleSEA

MapleSEA or MSEA (short for Maplestory South East Asia) is the South-east Asian version of MapleStory. It is written in English (like MapleGlobal) and is meant for the countries of Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand (though people from other countries can sign up as well). Unlike MapleGlobal, MapleSEA is not run by Nexon but by AsiaSoft. There are six worlds in MapleSEA all of which are named after constellations.

History

MapleSEA was created in June 2004, which led to the closing of the GMS beta world "Tespia East".

Worlds

MapleSEA started off with two worlds: Bootes and Aquila. Soon after, Cassiopeia was released. Two years ago, Delphinus was released. 1 year ago, Eridanus was launched. A few months ago, Fornax was launched.

The above needs to be rewritten with dates instead of "x ago". Please help MapleWiki by improving this information.

There are 2 different gateways in MapleSEA : Singapore and Malaysia. You can only access Fornax world from the Malaysia Gateway whereas the other five worlds (Aquila, Bootes, Cassiopeia, Delphinus, Eridanus) can only be accessed from the Singapore Gateway.

MSEA exclusives

New places (and therefor monsters, quests, NPCs and items as well) are often added to MSEA before other versions. Please refer to Wikipedia's article on MapleStory to see a detailed content table of what is and isn't available to MSEA and other versions.

Current version

The current version of MapleSEA is v0.79 as of August 6, 2009.
