Please explain why would some one want to do this.

In ADD there is a reason for multiclassing. but for maple? worst waste of time. ~Some person

Because of these reasons:

They want to be different

It isn't that hard so they think that the successfully made a sub-class

To be the top STR mage

Because they can and it's free.
