Talk:Monster Book/Crusader Codex

"Depending on the level of your character, some monster book cards do not activate their powers of the cards. For example, a level 100 character collecting red (low level) monster cards. The levels of the ranking seem to effect if a monster book card has a power for your level or not."

I don't think all monster cards have a power. Even with a beginner character, when I picked up a Snail card, I didn't get any bonus effect. However, As a level 50+ character, I got a Zombie Mushroom card and it still gave me the bonus effect. Level might not even play a factor in this at all.

I don't think that even if you are very high level, you still get power from the cards. When Level 13 character killing Slimes, it dropped Slime Card but when picked up, there is no effect at all. This means that cards does not depend on the levels of the character, since my low level character still get the same effects as my high level character. Tetrix 05:01, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

The Monster Book appears to have disappeared from GlobalMS after the Big Bang. Can anyone confirm this? -- OwlEpicurus, 26 December 2010
